My trip to Dotonbori in Osaka at night was so exciting! As soon as I arrived, I was surrounded by bright lights, giant neon signs, and a lively crowd. The energy was incredible! The famous Glico Running Man sign was glowing, and people were taking pictures everywhere—it was such a fun atmosphere. Walking along the canal, I saw so many unique sights. Huge, colorful signs of crabs, sushi, and other foods decorated the buildings, making it feel like a scene from a movie. The smell of delicious food filled the air, and I couldn’t wait to try some! I stopped to eat takoyaki (octopus balls) from a street vendor, and they were amazing—hot, crispy, and super tasty! I also tried okonomiyaki (savory pancake), another Osaka favorite. The food was so delicious, I could hardly stop eating! Everywhere I looked, there was something interesting to see or try. Street performers were entertaining the crowd, and shops stayed open late, selling all kinds of cool souvenirs and treats. The vibe of Dotonbori at night was electric, and I felt like I was in the heart of Osaka’s nightlife. Visiting Dotonbori at night was one of the best parts of my trip. They are then eaten with sauce and cabbage. It is another famous Osaka dish. If you come here, you must try it. It is just as famous as takoyaki or okonomiyaki. This shop is located in the alley of the giant crab shop. Walk along the street and look for a shop with a golden child sign and a large fried food display. There is also a golden child statue sitting in front of the shop. During lunch and evening, there will be a long line of people waiting. It is recommended to go in the afternoon. The wait is not long. When it is your turn, the staff will come out and invite you to sit inside. There are both counter and table seats. Osaka is a lively city with a ton of restaurants and shops to explore. I started my day with a leisurely morning at Kuromon Market, enjoying a fresh seafood breakfast. Then, I headed to Yodogawa River where I saw people doing all sorts of activities like walking their dogs, cycling, playing baseball, and even having BBQs. After that, I took a pleasant stroll through Osaka Castle and the surrounding park. In the afternoon, I checked out the retro vibes of Shinsekai district and couldn't resist the temptation of Dotonbori for some awesome food and shopping. If you want a quieter evening, I recommend going to Abeno Harukas for a peaceful night view from the rooftop. Firstly, this place is crazily crowded, filled with tourists and locals something like new York City times square but the Japanese version. The buildings around you will be filled with neon advertisements lights and there are insane amount of food choices here. From bars, to restaurants and some even located in back alleys too! Apart from food there are also loads of nightclubs for party goers. Don't drive here, take the public train here as parking can be quite hard to find and the jam on the roads are bad too!

If you’re in Osaka you need to head to Dotombori for the nightlife, it’s a hive of activity after dark. It’s famous for its illuminated store fronts with huge exaggerated features. It’s a great place to explore the streets and take great photos. it runs along a river and there are river boat tours if you’re interested, but most of it is doable on foot. There are lots of snack stalls, bars and wagyu restaurants but it can be very expensive on the street. Guys, I just had an incredible culinary trip in Dotonbori, Osaka's food heaven! It was a foodie's dream come true. So, my sister and I decided to start our gastronomic adventure by queuing up for this famous Okonomiyaki shop, and let me tell you, the wait was totally worth it! The Okonomiyaki was out of this world delicious. The combination of savory pancake, mouthwatering toppings, and that delectable sauce left me craving for more. But the foodie adventure didn't end there. We then headed to not just one, but two renowned Takoyaki shops with long queues. And guess what? Both of them lived up to their hype! The octopus-filled balls were perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and gooey on the inside, and bursting with flavors. I couldn't decide which one I liked more, so I happily devoured both. Japan trip: Feb 1st ~ 18th After my stay in Kyoto, I have made my way to the final place to visit... Osaka! For the first place to visit was obviously the famous #dotonbori to have a look at the running man of Glico for myself. Then walked around to see the many shops around the area (Which isn't long enough to look around in under a day) For the next place, we went to visit the #narapark and oh my god were the deers persistent to have a bite of the crackers I bought! Following the next day was the day which I look foward to was the great #osakacastle, and looking at the magnificent castle with my own eyes has completely fulfilled this trip. Finally, it was the day I went to #universalstudiosjapan. Mainly my goal was to visit the Nintendo World section, and there I got to try out the Mario Kart ride (Which the line took 2 hrs so I recommend getting a fast pass for this ride) And now for the last day of the trip, I thought I took it slow and visit around the areas near my accommodation and visited places such as #tsutenkakutower and malls at #osakastation. Now it was the end of my trip ans I left Japan from #kansaiinternationalairport and for the longest time I've wanted to visit Japan, and to finally have my wish come true... A must-see photo spot on your trip to Osaka‼️ #Dotonbori #Glico sign This was my first trip to Osaka. I finally got to see the Glico sign that I had only heard about😆 As expected of the symbol of Dotonbori, it was clearly visible from far away. People usually take pictures of the Glico sign at a spot on the bridge, but there are so many people there that it’s not easy to take pictures😂(Especially in the evening…🥲) So we got off the bridge and took pictures from a place where the Glico sign was directly in front of us.
