Seoul's Popular Instagram Spot: Breadypost's Must-Try Pretzels
For bread lovers, Seoul is a paradise, and Breadypost is a must-visit hotspot! This small shop, famous for its variety of sweet and savory pretzel breads, uses pesticide-free French wheat flour and premium French butter, with every bread freshly made daily. Breadypost has opened several branches in Seoul, including Yongsan, Seongsu, Yeonnam, and Myeongdong.
This time, we visited the Seongsu branch, the first store of Breadypost, hidden in the artistic Seongsu-dong. The pure white two-story building with vintage graffiti walls makes you want to take a few photos from the outside. As soon as you step inside, the aroma of bread fills the air, instantly captivating you.
Breadypost's signature pretzel-shaped bagels are the star product here. The crust is slightly crispy, and the inside is firm, with a chewy texture in every bite. The flavor options are rich and varied, from classic chocolate to creative chive bacon. Whether you prefer savory or sweet, you'll find something you love. The prices are also very reasonable, ranging from 3,800 to 8,000 KRW (approximately 86 to 180 TWD). Besides bread, the store also offers various peripheral products, from tote bags to limited-edition pretzel-shaped decorations, which are super cute. It must be said that Koreans are really good at combining food and design!
If you are also a bread lover, Breadypost is definitely worth adding to your must-visit list in Seoul. Remember to leave some room in your stomach because you'll want to take all the bread home as soon as you walk in!

A Beautiful Escape: Nami Island Review
Nami Island is a peaceful retreat just an hour away from the heart of Seoul. I arrived via an intracity train, which was comfortable and efficient, taking about an hour to reach Gapyeong Station. From there, it was a short taxi ride to the ferry terminal, followed by a scenic ferry crossing to the island.
The island’s beauty is stunning, especially during autumn when the foliage transforms into vivid shades of red, orange, and yellow. Walking down the famous Metasequoia Lane felt magical, as if stepping into a postcard. There’s also plenty to do, from renting bikes to exploring artistic installations and cozy cafes offering local delicacies.
Despite being a popular tourist spot, I found it serene, particularly since I visited on a Friday morning to avoid the weekend rush. It’s the perfect destination for a leisurely stroll, some great photo opportunities, or simply to relax and connect with nature.
For anyone visiting Seoul, Nami Island is a must-see. Its charm and tranquility offer a refreshing break from the city. Highly recommended!

Seoul Munrae-dong Cafe, which Koreans like to go to recently
#seoultravel #100 ways to travel
Seoul. Munrae-dong|Rust Bakery
Tired of other popular areas in Seoul? Let’s explore Munrae Cave this time! Munrae-dong, located near Yeongdeungpo-gu, used to be an old steel factory area (a bit like the early Seongsu-dong). Nowadays, it has gradually become an emerging art village, with many cafes and small shops quietly settling in, adding a lot of literary and artistic atmosphere to this area. This time I came to Munrae-dong not only to feel the atmosphere of the art village, but also to check in at the popular bakery - Rust Bakery. The combination of red brick walls, graffiti, old factory elements, and a spacious two-story space make Rust Bakery not only easy to photograph, but also delicious!
When you come here, be sure to try their croissants and donuts. This time I ordered #Earl Gray Croissant. The outside is crispy, and the filling is rich Earl Gray Tea Custard. It is sweet but not greasy, and the tea is fragrant. It is really delicious! # OriginalFernand Snow is relatively unpretentious. I recommend the Fei Nanxue from Oats cafe and the #Pistachio Pudding here is also one of the must-try. Although it is called pudding in English, the taste is more like tiramisu. The slight saltiness offsets the sweetness, making it surprisingly delicious.
If you have plenty of time or want to experience the local baking culture, you might as well come to Rust Bakery. After eating, you can walk around for a while. It’s really great.
