Furong Town is an ancient town that lies on a river bank that ends with a waterfall. You pay aprox. 13€ for a whole day (and night) entrance, so you can freely walk out and into the town. In the evening, town lights up in neautiful colours and even the waterfal is lit up. But it is also really convenient by train and buses which I so highly recommend since you might spend the entire day here. Botok Botok is a specialty dish in Johor and i got the opportunity to try it first time in Batu Pahat (2hours away from JB) where they served this dish as part of lunch meal course. 📍Then i found a shop in Johor Bahru that sell this flavorful traditional dish, “Botok Botok Ibunda JB”! This shop have few types of Botok Botok include fish, chicken and roe. I attached their menus which can be seen in the photos👆🏻 I purchased Botok-Botok steamed fish and roe, and both are totally delicious! 😋 Plus point; Eat with Rice! 🌟Botok Botok is a dish made of a mixture of vegetables (ulam-ulaman), fish, chili, and coconut flesh, and the combination of the ingredients is then traditionally wrapped in banana leaves and steamed. 🐟 The kind of fish use are usually spanish mackerels (tenggiri) or chub mackerels (kembung). The village of Pai located up north of chang mai is a place where you really have to visit, if not for my colleague who did not mention to me, I wouldn't even know such beauty exist here. Inside of pai there are a few attractions that you should visit, Thee Santichon village where it is created as a replica of a Chinese village, the big buddha of pai located up on a little hill where you can also see this big white buddha from the hill itself, or .aube do a simple hike towards the mopang waterfall where you can jump in and cool off, or the pambok waterfall located just 20mins outside of pai, where you will see that this is like a mini canyon with tall rocks on the side and locals will also jump in here to cool off from the hot weather. Obernai is a town located right after the big city of strasbourg roughly about a short 30mins drive down south before you hit Colmar. This town is worth a visit especially if you are interested in the production of wine and beer making, like your kronenbourg lager beer, Tigre, Tuborg and many more! There are also several attractions to visit in Obernai like your church of saints Peter and Paul, the domaine de la Leonard sau, the couvent de bischenburg and many other historical old landmarks thruout the entire town and around the town. Eguisheim, a town right after Colmar, like a 10mins drive is another medieval village in the popular Alsace wine region. You will be able to against see the cobbled streets but the difference here are the really narrow streets with the well mantaoned timber houses at each side of the street reminding me of Italy or like games like counter strike where there are so many narrow allies everywhere. As now in August - September fall period the weather is perfect, dry crisp air, no rain, making every spot a perfect photoshot especially when the sun shines into the town at a angle. And of course if you are a wine lover, so visit one of the many wines located all around Eguisheim as you will notice there are many vineyards located outside of this quiet little town. Germany is filled with many historical old medieval buildings and historical landmarks and castles. The city of Nuremberg is one of 2nd largest German city where you be able to see these many well preserved buildings, bridges, and even restaurants made of thick sturdy wood making it a very cosy homely environment to dine in. While in Nuremburg, do drop by the old town where you will be able to see the nuremburg castle, the Saint Sevald Church and the toy musuem. Of course all these are tourists attractions which require entrance fee which you can buy it at the place itself. If you also realise, the streets are filled with cobblestones, those that you normally see in the movies where horses and carriages gallops across. Do also remember to visit the Hauptmarkt where this is also a market place located right in the centre of Nuremberg just by the Pegnitz River. Not many people are aware of this Rothernburg Ob Der Tauber in Germany. This place deserves a shout out at the many instaworthy scenic shots that you can use as a back drop. Many tourists from around the world will drop by this place due to its really well preserved medieval structures that is thruout this entire place. You can visit the Rothenburg Market Square where its somewhat similar to the compenhagen coloured buildings where it consists of shops, restaurants, cafes and residential buildings. You will also be able to enter the city Tower where you will be able to have an unblocked view of the entire city but an entrance fee is applicable for this, and do take note that the top of the tower isn't too big and is restricted to the amount of people that is able to go up at one time. Recently I went for a short work trip to Frankfurt in Germany where I was able to do a short visit to St Paul's Church where its a former protestant Church in Germany and this is a site visited by many tourists as this has a historical value where this Church was built in the 1800s, and surprisingly this Church wasn't even bombed. Also not too far away is the frankfurt train station located about a 10 - 15min walk away. The train station called Frankfurt am Main Hauptbahnhof, was also built in the 1800s was a transport hub for Germany and they have more than 20 over platforms making it one of the biggest and largest train station in Europe. If you look around you in the town of frankfurt, the building resembles of olden times cottages houses which you are unable to see elsewhere.
