The bigges
The biggest attractions of Carthage are all the ancient remains scattered throughout the city. The most impressive are the Antonine Baths – the largest Roman bath outside of Rome! The baths were built in the 2nd century AD, when Carthage was under the rule of the Roman Empire, and even today you can easily see what a grandiose place it was.
You can walk around the large area and freely explore all its corners. Besides the remains of the baths, you will also find here remains of old houses, a chapel, a Punic cemetery, etc. Look down while walking because you will also notice beautiful mosaics that remain intact in their place.
An advantage of visiting the Antonine Baths is that you can see the premises of the presidential palace located next to the archaeological site.#Carthage #tunsia #remains #rometrip #trip #localguides

The #ancient city of #carthage is located near the Mediterranean sea on the African continent and more exactly in #tunisia . It is very well kept and shows how the ancient people had been living here. The rocks and what left from the buildings are very old and you really feel the atmosphere of the old times here. It is really nice place. It is easily accessible by bus from the capital of the country also.
