#seoultrip Everland on a weekday is great fun for everyone. There are no crowds and line ups are sparce. There are rides for all ages. About 40 minute taxi ride from Seoul. Charcoal grill was our go to dinner every night! Nothing beats the flavour of charcoal. Korean beef has a milder taste than Japanese, Australian and American. Myeongdong night market is a must. I would suggest not to fill up on dinner and just eat your way down the street! Loads of cosmetics and beauty product shops all along the street. Everland is one of the most beautiful and fun theme park I have ever been to! It is located in Yongin city of South Korea. Its full of beautiful buildings, fun and thrilling rides, 3D-4D shows, zoo, different flower gardens and much more! The most famous ride is the T-Express which is a wooden roller coaster with a steep angle of 77 degrees during the fall!!! It feels so scary and exciting to ride this roller-coaster that people wait as long as 2-3 hours sometimes for this! The other rides include Hurricane, Rolling X Train, Double Rock Spin, Lets Twist, some water rides as well like Thunder Falls, Amazon Express, etc. The zoo is filled with a wide variety of animals and birds, the whole region is referred to as Zootopia. Then comes the 2 popular gardens: The four season garden and the rose garden💗 Not to forget, there are many many cafes and restaurants spread throughout the park. Its a huge park so be prepared to walk a lot! Best is to reach early and book some rides through Q-Pass during the initial hours. Weekends are particularly very very busy. The visit ends with a very beautiful Moon and Light Parade in which many people and props and vehicles are decorated with lights! Accessible from the Yongin-Everland line. Get off the last stop and there are shuttle buses to the entrance of Everland. Some city buses also go directly to Everland area, maybe a 10 minutes walk to the entrance. Found out that Caribbean Bay was doing a special event for a limited time. I do not know if it is an annual event. It was free entry into the park to enjoy the cafes next to the wave pool. When you enter for this event you are not allowed to go on the water rides. If you bring kids they can play in the wave pool area at no charge. I ordered drinks and enjoyed sitting next to the wave pool. I also spent some time walking through the wave pool. 1. Everland at Korea Highlights Actually, some rides have been closed. - EXPRESS, a wooden roller coaster, can't be played because of the weather. It snowed a week before I went. I missed this one. - HURRICANE, this ride is open, but I'm afraid of having to wait in line for a long time. - DOUBLE ROCK SPIN, this ride is also open. This ride looks fun and not scary enough to not dare to play, but the line is long. - SAFARI WORLD, the zoo is closed, not open for viewing. - LOST VALLEY, I'm not sure if you have to pay extra for the entrance fee or the forest. - COLUMBUS ADVENTURE, this ride is open. You can play as usual, but the line is very long. Book with Klook, it's easy and convenient. Score 6 out of 10 because it takes a long time to get there. There are lots of rides, restaurants, and nice places inside this place. The best part is they have Safari which we really enjoyed a lot. I felt like I'm in Lion King world! Also there is a garden place which they have BTS so for BTS armies out there you have to check out this place.
