Learn to surf at Surfers Paradise Beach with any of the surf shops along the area! The waters here are quite clear and beautiful, plus the sand is white and powdery soft. The surf shop we went with was the Go Ride A Wave. Instructors were great and patient, helping us navigate the board and waves. Many shops and restaurants are right at the beachfront so if you need a bite or drink, it is very easily accessible. Emerald Lakes Village boasts the beautiful scenery of the calm lake, surrounded by multiple European inspired establishments such as restaurants, cafes, villas, and apartments that are photoworthy. This place made us feel like we travelled somewhere in Europe.🏞🌍 Although the weather wasn't that great, we were able to take beautiful photos and enjoy the walk around the place. The only issue is that some part of the bridge is covered with bird droppings. La Luna Beach Club is one the most sophisticated dining and function venues located in Marina Mirage, Gold Coast, Australia. This time in Hong Kong, instead of staying in the city, I stayed at a beautiful hotel to enjoy the sea view~ @goldcoasthotel The azure sky and the tranquil sea are especially intoxicating. Next to the hotel is the Gold Coast Beach and Yacht Club. From the room, you can directly see the enchanting seascape. Even if you do nothing, just sitting by the window can fill an entire day.°ʚ(*´꒳`*)ɞ°. The hotel itself has a gym, a large swimming pool, and a restaurant buffet. Walking around the hotel, you'll pass its European-style wedding garden. Feeling the sea breeze and watching the sunset, the moment seems particularly beautiful. As a blogger, I like to travel and explore new places. Recently, I had the opportunity to visit the Gold Coast, and it was an amazing experience. I stayed at the Meriton Suites Surfers Paradise, which is a luxurious hotel located in the heart of Surfers Paradise. The hotel is just a few minutes away from the beach, and it offers stunning views of the ocean and the city skyline. One of the best things about my stay at the Meriton Suites Surfers Paradise was the food. The hotel has a fantastic restaurant called Coast Beach Bar & Kitchen, which is located on the second floor of the building. One may not immediately think of insects or wildlife when they come to Hong Kong for holiday. Usually fine-dining or touristy places will steal the limelight, but Hong Kong is in fact an amazing place for exploring small animals as it has many walking trails and towns in the suburbs that could be a pleasant surprise for visitors! Gold Coast is in a relatively inaccessible area in Tuen Mun, which is in the New Territories (north of Hong Kong). Just spend an hour walking in the gardens there you can easily spots different types of butterflies and lizards. Gold Coast is a small but chill community with nice restaurants, shops and yachts. Everytime I drive pass granny macs I will never stop as it looks like a convenient store with groceries and sweets. There is an attraction in the heart of surfers paradise, Ripley's believe or not where it has been here the longest time, I believe since when I was a kid. Located at Cavill Ave, Surfers Paradise QLD 4217, this place has more than 100 over exhibits with many exhibits telling you extreme wierd facts that seems so unbelievable. Having a holiday in gold coast Australia, be it in winter or summer it's always a great time to head out to the many national park that gold coast has to offer. Just a short 50mins drive from surfers paradise is the springbrook national park where you are able to do hikes that you will able to see the purlingbrook falls(in the picture above), the natural bridge(a hole like waterfall) and a few other falls located here. The hike here takes a total of 2 hours with a relatively easy walk, this place is well paved which means it's also a family friendly hike for all. Do bring along water just in case as there are no refills in the park and parking here is free! I brought my dad to seaworld at gold coast to remember the past on when he brought me there uncountable times when I was a kid. Seaworld is located at Seaworld Dr, Main Beach QLD 4217, where it is not only an aquarium but also shows and rides are included in this park. Seaworld is a place that I will go once every 2 years because of the ever changing rides, upgrades and expansion plans they have. Paradise Country is a mini zoo which is located in Production Drive, Oxenford Gold Coast which is only 40mins away from brisbane and 15mins from surfers paradise. This mini zoo is one of the few zoos which allows you to interact with the farm animals for free, this means you are able to feed them, experiencing in squeezing of milk, and even touch and feel koalas, wallabies and such! There are also several performances to catch where they have a schedule before you enter into paradise Country, for example the sheep Sheering performances or the koala feeding talk where staff will explain to you about the animal and its natural habitats, how they defend themselves and stuff. Paradise Country normally comes with a package that comes with movie world and sea world which I highly recommend rather than just buying 1 ticket alone. The ticket also allows you to go an unlimited number of times within a 14 day period. this experience takes place at Surfers Paradise QLD, Australia. It started at 7 am which finished around lunch time. As I remember it’s AUD $79/person, included a quick breakfast (milk, cereal & a piece of cake). We both had never kayaked before, the guides had taught us from the beginning which was quite easy to follow (about 30 minutes quick lesson). We then kayaked to Wavebreak Island where we had our breakfast and snorkeling. We then, kayaked to South Stradbroke Island for 10-15 minutes and had a long walk along the island before kayaking back to the departure point. We thought we did not get to see any dolphins, luckily, we saw one on the way back! It’s a very good experience, but also exhausting (because of the sun and the wave haha). Gold Coast beaches stretches to 2/3km of pristine golden white sand where its main area is right in surfers paradise where it is filled with restaurants, cafes, service apartments and shopping. One of the beaches we head today was at mermaid beach where it is especially popular with the locals when it comes to surfing and chilling on the beach. As surfers paradise gets quite a handful of tourists and isn't as quiet but mermaid beach on the other hand is amazing. The only downside is that parking might be a it harder to find as the entire area are for residences only. We had an amazing time at the beach sipping beers and cookies on a quiet stretch of beach while watching surfers riding and catching the waves. There are a couple of quiet beaches along the entire stretch of gold coast. The crowds here are mostly locals with its pie shop mostly packed with people for breakfast and lunch! Yatala pie is an iconic pie shop in yatala, city of gold coast queensland. It is also named as one of the Australia's big things where some of which are novelty architecture and some are sculptures and also named yatala pie shop Q150 Icons where it is a significant to queensland. There are many pie flavours to choose from, pies with steak, cheese bacon steak, curry lamb, pepper steak, chunky steak and many others. They too serves sweet treats like vanilla custard pie, vanilla slice. But the pie is just amazing, the saucy filled pies that I will always buy home frozen and bring back to my country Singapore. The restaurant interior was rather bland and unimpressive, only the bar area seemed to be where a bit more thought was put into. The vibe I got was a very sterile and functional one, which was further emphasized by the young waitresses’ perfunctory service. Fortunately, this restaurant’s saving grace came in the form of a more experienced staff member (I couldn’t be sure if she was actually the owner), a sweet older lady who was warm and enthusiastic in her manner towards us. The food tasted pretty average, I felt we could’ve gotten better-tasting food elsewhere for lower prices compared to what we were paying here. I’m hazarding a guess that maybe people come here more for the alcohol than the food. Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets opened for business on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from 5pm when we visited. What I really like about the markets here in Australia is that a large number of these vendors actually make the products they sell. They aren’t mass-produced or bought at a cheaper price somewhere else and resold in bulk for a higher price. Although we didn’t make many purchases either because of the prices or the practicality of the items, the amount of skill and effort that was put on display and on sale at this market was a joy for me to experience. The atmosphere was lively and fun, and I was pretty disappointed when we reached the end of the market stalls. Plus points for being conveniently located at Surfers Paradise and right next to the lovely beach.
