Every time we go to Panagsama we always dine at this place since they have happy hour and you can get buy 1 take 1 drinks. And we love Margarita so might as well take the chance. Spring pool in Moalboal!!

#timetotravel Getting There - The best way to get there is by motorcycle because it's absolutely far and in a mountainous area. In Moalboal, you can rent a motorbike for a day for ₱300 ($6). From there go to the highway and drive down to the south and go on Santander-Barili-Toledo Road. Drive straight on the road for approximately 5 minutes and turn left into a side road in Barangay Balabagon. There is no conspicuous landmark or signage at the intersection when you make the turn, but the only landmark that can possibly be noticed is “BIBLE BAPTIST CHURCH.” When you see it, make a left turn and go on to a side road that leads you to Barangay Busay. Keep going up, and you’ll see Busay’s Barangay hall and basketball court. Pass by them and keep going up until you see small white signage standing on the side of the street that says “This way to Busay Cave.” Attractions - Visitors can enjoy swimming in a spring pool in the cave. It's not that deep but good enough for you to enjoy the water. The water is so clear and it's quite cold as well so you might feel freezing if you stay longer. Bat watching is also available but you need to have a guide if you go there you can ask the big guy who collects the entrance fee about the guide. Entrance Fee for Filipino citizens cost 12pesos and for Foreigners 25 pesos. It's not that popular yet for tourists so expect for more locals in the area. Hotels - There are lots of hotels in Moalboal or Badian that you can choose. It's up to your preferences. Food & Restaurants - Food and Drinks are available at Busay Cave. Chief Mau hostel - Moalboal 🇵🇭

If you are looking for a lively, secluded, yet friendly stay in the beach area of the Philippines, look no further! This cute, warm and welcoming hostel next to Panagsama beach is perfect for a long or short vacation. I stayed here with my friend for two nights in a private room with an ensuite bathroom, the price is around £25 per person per night. If you would like something cheaper, there is the option to share a mixed dormitory, however, there are no age limits to the dorm rooms and it is mixed gender rooms. The hotel is located on the street, that you have to pay, 25 pesos each to enter, and the street has plenty of international cuisine options from amazing breakfasts and lunches. There are also plenty of Dave 🙈 sites to go diving and the sardine run is right on the doorstep! The hotel is currently under some refurbishment, with paint and construction around but this did not impact our stay at all! Paradise: Sea Turtle Hotel Moalboal

This hotel one can see has loads to offer. The staff are gems, the view is awesome and the food are really worth the visit. However, there are some parts that needs attention. I wanted to write a review telling people to not visit right after we arrived, but after speaking to the staff, seeing the view this morning and reading some of the posts informing me about why they are not up to the standard this hotel I changed my mind. This hotel has the potential to be a haven, with offers of snorkeling, hanging under the trees and staff that helps with cab booking, food orders and going the extra mile. I will remember this little hotel and its family forever.#moalboal #seaturtlehouse

Lakeview: perfect dinner with majestic view

Getting There - 30km Transcentral Highway, on a car (they have a good private parking) or on a van from IT Park in Cebu. Attractions - the big beautiful botanical garden with thousands of tropical plants and Filipino-French restaurant. The entrance fee is just 100php (2$) but should cost much more. It’s an amazing place. Food - amazing. The best I’ve tried in Cebu so far. I recommend you to try their Chicken Sandwich and Rib eye Steak. All ingredients are very fresh - they buy it from local farmers or plant themselves on their farm. Also on the farm you can find some geese, turkeys and other interesting birds. My Pescadores Seaview Suite Experience

Getting There - I was really afraid at first because I have no idea of the road's terrain going to Moalboal. Before deciding to proceed, luckily, we found a cellphone number at Facebook and the agent told us that the road is not that steep which I am afraid of. We used Google Maps as reference. From Lapu-Lapu, we traversed the 1st Bridge to Mandaue, then to Cebu south road. Upon reaching Carcar, at the round about, we turned right to Carcar-Barili road and just followed the Google Maps. In all my travels in Cebu, this road is the easiest to drive at. It took us more than 3 hours to reach Moalboal. Attractions - Of course, the beach is the main attraction which can be seen from the pool, as well as the Pescadores Island, which at the time of our visit is not yet available for visit due to the damage brought by the Super Typhoon Odette last December 2021. Accordingly, the island is still on its rehabilitation stage. Other attractions include the Moalboal Park which is beside the ocean and near the market. Hotels - There are various hotels and resorts beside the area which you can choose. We preferred PSS because they are open to accepting pets. We do have 3 small dogs with us--a cavoodle, a shihpoo and a combination of both. Food & Restaurants - There are restaurants, carinderias, and barbecue grills nearby which offers variety of food. There are also coffee and milk tea shops at the main road. Lunch in Moalboal 🇵🇭

We had an amazing lunch at B 🌊 WUD. The price was very reasonable (70 pesos = £1) with most costing £4-7. I had a delicious bruschetta and my friend had avocado on toast, accompanied by two smoothies. This brunch bar, like many others, is situated next to Panagsama beach in Moalboal. Getting There - It’s located 3 hours away from Cebu City. We booked a hotel close by so getting there was easy. Attractions - The Kawasan waterfalls Hotels - Moalboal Tropics and quite a few close by. Food & Restaurants - The famous Blue Mango street has a bunch of restaurants and drinking spots. Our tour included lunch but there is a bbq place halfway through the river trekking. Your home away from home - Moalboal, Cebu

This is in FFG Eden Resort in Moalboal, Cebu. Some pictures are taken from their FB page. Our original plan was to stay overnight but ended up staying for 4 days and 3 nights. We love the place! The resort is right infront of the beach, with serenity pool and kiddie pool. They offer the most affordable rooms that will cater according to your needs. The staff are all friendly and accommodating. They have a small restaurant with yummy food, plus a videoke machine that you can use for free! We really had a great time, especially my daughter so we're planning to go back next month. They also have WiFi that's why I was able to work from the resort with no hassle.
