#koreatrip #jeonju Our visit to Wan Mountain Chilbong for flower viewing, though we missed the Yaezakura, was still delightful with the vibrant blooms of crabapple and azaleas stealing the spotlight. The overcast skies added a sense of tranquility to the mountain, and the vivid colors of the flowers contrasted beautifully with the misty atmosphere. From the summit of Chilbong, we could also enjoy a panoramic view of Jeonju, where the cityscape harmonized perfectly with the surrounding natural beauty. Even on a cloudy day, the spring scenery of Chilbong left us captivated.

The overcast skies added a serene and mysterious charm to this historic site, making it the perfect backdrop for wearing a hanbok and immersing ourselves in Korea’s rich past. Gyeonggijeon was built in 1410 during the Joseon Dynasty to enshrine the portrait of King Taejo, the founder of the dynasty. Walking through the tall pine trees and traditional gates in our hanbok, we felt as though we had traveled back to the Joseon era. The solemnity of the shrine and the beauty of the surrounding traditional architecture made the visit unforgettable. Despite the gray skies, the cultural depth and historical significance of Gyeonggijeon shone brightly, leaving us deeply moved.

The overcast skies seemed to enhance the cathedral’s stunning red-brick facade, highlighting its intricate Romanesque and Byzantine architectural details. Inside, the warm glow of candles and the peaceful ambiance provided a stark contrast to the somber weather outside, inviting us to pause and reflect. Got a day to spare? Check out the The World-Renowned Jeonju Bibimbap at Jeonju Village "Hankookjib"! This is the oldest bibimbap restaurant in Jeonju. The restaurant opened in 1952 and has been run by three generations of owners! After that, take a 2 hours walking tour around the Village see some interesting Graffiti street art, and check out some nice cafes! Comparing the ones we visited, it seems like Cafe Jeonmang has the best overlooking view atop Jeonju Hanok Village. It was a wonderful day in Jeonju and the way my outfit matched the vibe and surroundings perfectly, made it even more wonderful 🤎 This photo was taken at Omokdae Pavillion. Omokdae Pavillion is where King Taejo stopped by and held a banquet. Here, he thought to develop his own country and here comes the born of Joseon Dynasty. Jeonju has a special place in my heart. People lives in a slower pace here compare to Seoul and I just love the hanok village. Did a hanok stay here and absolutely love it. The Hanok Village is a must visit! It is wayyyy better than those in Seoul to be honest. My highlight of the trip would be Chokso Cafe in Omokdae. The cafe is under the real hanok. Jeonju Hanok Village is a historical place located south of Seoul. Here you can find traditional Korean houses that are dated back as far as the Joseon Dynasty. The houses are now used as shops, restaurants and museums to showcase the many traditions of South Korea, such as rice wine making. It is about 2.5 hours journey by train from Seoul. Some of the popular attractions in Jeonju is to stay in one of the Hanok houses. Ajung Lake is a very attractive part we just surrounded by the mountains. You can walk through the trial around 20 to 30 minutes to finish around the lake. when you walk around you some road you have to go on the mountain and then come down. Here at night time there are two places that you can sit down and listen to the group of singer. Also the restaurant nearby popular and tasty. To come inside here you have to buy in train ticket 2000Won. the beautiful thing here is about Metasequoia trees. when do you living in the stress in a city it is a best option for you to come here to get a fresh air from the trees. This is Korean traditional Market. You can buy a cheap food here. It is 1 km from Jeonbuk University. Vegetables fruit meat are all cheap. when you come here you need to withdraw the cash with you. You can use your ATM card only meat store. The groceries store and the other seller that sell along the road they not accepted the card. Also to be convenient you should know some basics Korean in order to communicate with the seller. Usually the seller here are old people. Deokjin Park it's a beautiful place in Jeonju. it has a huge park. It has an ancient style building. At daytime it also beautiful as we can see a lotus flower. And at night it really beautiful as all building will show us in gold color. This park is free you don't need to buy an entrance ticket. It located next to Jeonbuk University. Nearby there you can have a drink at the small mart. It giving you a relaxation time and you can smell the blossom from lotus. The best time that you can see the beautiful lotus flower is around June July and August. I had one of the #bestsunset in Jeonju, South Korea. The first photo was taken at the 3rd floor of the Jeonju Hanok Village Jeonmangdae Cafe around 6pm. It is right opposite the cultural experience centre where regular traditional performances are staged The highest level of the cafe is 7th and it is accessible by an outdoor stairs. if you ever get tired from the busy cities of Seoul or Busan and want to take a trip back in time, I highly recommend the beautiful Jeonju. 🍁 Jeonju is one of the most beautiful cities I've visited in South korea. I've loved the history and the festivals there. it's even more beautiful during autumn and winter. it is easily accessible and very easy to find accommodation (from hotel, to temple stay) if you don't want to stay in Jeonju, you can easily and quickly get to Daejeon which is just nearby and a bigger city. 🚄 2:30 from seoul ⛺️ I 100% recommend for you to try templestay there, where you get to be part of a temple life and learn their ways. 🍽 1- CHOCOPIE !!!
