Tian Sheng San Qiao (Three Natural Bridges) National Park
Tian Sheng San Qiao (Three Natural Bridges) National Park is located in Wulong, about 150 kilometers from Chongqing. We took a day trip by train, which was very convenient. We spent around 2.5 hours leisurely exploring the park. On the way back, the bus will stop at a bus station first, then at the train station. Be careful not to get off at the wrong stop. We almost did, but luckily we asked in time. You can conveniently pay by scanning when you get on the bus.

Conrad Chongqing, an unforgettable accommodation with a view of Chongqing
Conrad Chongqing is the accommodation we chose to stay in the last 2 nights to capture the impression of Chongqing, which is famous for its night lights. It is located in Nan'an District, not far from the train station, making it convenient for traveling. It is less than 15 kilometers from Jiefangbei and Nanshan, and only 30 minutes from the airport. The hotel's decoration is inspired by Chongqing's culture. When you stay in the room, you will feel a mix of modernity and culture here.
The luxurious lobby on the 52nd floor of the hotel. Just check in and you will be amazed by the view in front of you. The staff can speak English fluently, making communication easy. The guest rooms are located on the ground floor below the lobby.
- The rooms are very spacious and of course you can see a beautiful view of Chongqing all day long. The bathroom is spacious and well-proportioned. There is a bathtub and modern sanitary ware.
- The MIST Lounge is our favorite spot at night with classical music and special drinks from a cheerful mixologist.
- There is also a swimming pool here. Even though it is winter at this time (December), the swimming pool is at normal temperature. Therefore, anyone who likes swimming can come and use the service. It is also a point where you can see the top view of this place.
- In addition, there is also a spa and a Chinese restaurant.
If anyone wants to experience the lights of Chongqing, China to the fullest, I recommend you to try looking at the details of this place.

Hongyadong, Chongqing Icon
When we talk about Chongqing, what comes to our mind? Chongqing's icon and number one must-visit is Hongyadong Cave, which is incredibly popular for its unique blend of architecture, culture, and stunning views.
Built along the cliffs by the Jialing River, Hongyadong’s multi-level, stilted architecture reflects the traditional Bayu (ancient Chongqing) style. The complex appears to be “hanging” along the cliffside, with 11 stories seamlessly blending into the mountainside, giving it a unique appearance that draws many visitors.
Hongyadong is especially popular at night when it lights up with a warm, golden glow, creating a magical scene. The illuminated wooden structures against the river and city skyline resemble scenes from traditional Chinese paintings or animated movies, making it one of Chongqing’s most photogenic spots.
There are several spots to view the building, from the street level, on the bridge, and across the river, all offering a spectacular view of Hongyadong.

Chongqing nightlife is a dazzling experience one shouldn't miss when visiting the city.
Strolling through the bustling streets, you canbhear the lively chatter and the scent of street sizzling food at Hongya Hot Pot.
Qiansimen Bridge is the most captivating and favorite spot among locals and tourists.
It glows in vibrant red illuminations.
We desperately wanted to visit the picturesque, brightly lit views of Hongya Cave but it was a miss, sigh, because the grab driver brought us to a wrong spot, opposite the road across the Yangtze River.

P The car can be parked directly to the camp, which is very convenient.
If you want to set a camp room, there are not only kitchen utensils and tableware,
out aiso a bathroom in the room. Inere are aiso tollets and shower rooms in the
camp area. Hot water is provided, and there are several charging cabinets without pressure on hygiene. Don't worry about the mobile phone running out of power.

#磁器口 #ciqikou This is a night view of Ciqikou. The shops usually start to close at around 8.30 pm onwards, hence no more crowds at this time. This is the best time for night scenery photos because the lighthings are still on. If you go after 9pm, most shops are already closed and the lights are off.
How you can get there is by MRT Red line to reach here. The station is exactly on the same place, walking distance is around 5 mins to this place entrance. No entrance ticket is required. Full of hotpot restaurants and recommend to have it here.
This is a must visit place. The crazy crowds will usually start from 10 am-ish, so if you want a better photo, suggest reach there before 9.15 am, but some shops may not open yet.
We stayed at Lianci Hotel abd the stay is pleasant. Highly recommended to stay for 1 day. 1 day stay is enough and the hotel rate is not expensive.

Chongqing-A city of ladders
It was my short visit to Chongqing, China in 2024.
is a large city in Southwest China and one of the four centrally-run cities in the People's Republic of China. What amazed me is the complicate constructions and many beutiful buildings. The road here is up and then down, which means you have to go downstair then upstair for the walking lane. When in Chongqing, the time for walking and finding way is too much, so I caught a taxi many times, instead of going to metro for trains. But it still a good place to visit 😍😍😍

Chongqing views
Chongqing is such a fascinating city. I cannot even fathom the night views here, though there are many people. The food is great but spicy. The weather was not as cold as I have expected as we had gone on autumn season. It is definitely a city worth going to. There are a total of three levels of the entire city, you think you're on floor one but you might be on the 11th floor, such a geographical mystery. #chongqing#nightviews

This place in Chongqing is vibing 🇨🇳
Located on the bank of the Yangtze River and built along mountain and cliff, Shancheng Alley used to be a footpath for local residents. It has many historic buildings and cultural characteristics until now.
Along the way , I walked past by many shops and old buildings. there were a lot of shops selling souvenirs , food and teahouse.
I went during summer, the weather was at 39C. It was humid but the vibe was chill and slow. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the view was spectacular.

Breathtaking Wulong Day trip
🗻Wulong Day Trip 🗻
If you’re looking for an escape from bustling city life, a day trip to lush, green and historic Wulong might be just what the doctor ordered.
Technically still in Chongqing, Wulong is around a 3-4 hour drive from Chongqing city proper. We hired a private driver for the day (from taobao), but there is also a train station there which will take a fraction of the time - you may need to rely on taxis which could be inconvenient.
We went to the historical Wulong Tiansheng Three Bridges Scenic Area during the national holiday but it actually wasn’t too busy. The weather was slightly damp but it didn’t put a dampener on our day! And the mist really added to the atmosphere of the place.
We entered through Tiansheng Three Bridges Scenic Area Glass Toaotai ticket office which leads onto an overhanging class balcony where you can see the valley below! Not for the feint of heart 😅
Then we walked along the cliff edge path towards the 108m tall elevator which took us down to the valley. The walk is around 3km totally, which is a beautiful, relaxing walk on a paved walkway. The views are stunning and even though I had been here before in 2018, I found it still took my breath away!
Definitely worth a visit, if you live in Chongqing as I do, it provides a lovely break from the bustling city life #wulong #historicallandmarks #chongqing #武隆 #nationalday #nature #china #chinatravel

A Memorable Trip to Chongqing: China’s Mountain City
Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting Chongqing, one of China’s most unique and vibrant cities. Known as the “Mountain City” for its rugged terrain, Chongqing is unlike any other place I’ve traveled to. From its stunning natural beauty to its rich history and spicy cuisine, the city offers a whirlwind of experiences.
The Landscape: A City Built Among Hills and Rivers
Chongqing’s landscape is breathtaking. The city is cradled by the Yangtze and Jialing rivers, and its hilly terrain means steep streets, countless bridges, and even elevators between levels of the city. As I explored, I found the vertical cityscape fascinating. It’s not uncommon to see skyscrapers built on inclines, creating a dynamic view wherever you look.
Historic Sites and Modern Marvels
One of my first stops was Ciqikou Ancient Town, a well-preserved street filled with old-style buildings, traditional teahouses, and small shops selling local crafts. Walking through the narrow streets made me feel like I had stepped back in time. On the flip side, visiting the futuristic skyline at Hongyadong, especially when lit up at night, provided a stunning contrast between the old and new Chongqing.
The Hotpot Experience
No trip to Chongqing would be complete without trying its famous hotpot. Known for its fiery heat, Chongqing hotpot is a communal meal where diners dip a variety of ingredients—meat, vegetables, tofu—into a boiling pot of broth, filled with chili peppers and Sichuan peppercorns. The numbing spice was an unforgettable challenge, but the flavors were worth every bite!
Overall Impressions
Chongqing is a city of contrasts—where ancient traditions meet modern life, and nature’s grandeur blends seamlessly with urban development. Whether it’s savoring a spicy meal or admiring the landscape, Chongqing left a lasting impression on me. I can’t wait to go back and explore more of this dynamic, evolving city!

Raffles City Mall in Chongqing is impressive Mall.

During my recent trip to Chongqing, I visited Raffles City for some shopping and dining. I was on the lookout for Labubu at the Pop Mart store and was excited to check out the launch of Huawei's new Mate XT phone. This mall, owned by Capital Land Singapore, shares the same name as Raffles City in Singapore, but the atmosphere and selection of brands here are truly impressive. The mall also has a big outdoor at the back with the nice view of Chongqing City Skyline.
Raffles City Chongqing is an iconic architectural complex located at the confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers in Chongqing, China. Designed by renowned architect Moshe Safdie, it features eight skyscrapers, including a unique "horizontal skyscraper" or "sky bridge" that spans across four of the towers. This futuristic development combines residential, office, and retail spaces, as well as luxury hotels.
If you visit Chongqing, don't miss out on this Shopping Mall!

Crazy Dimensions
One of the largest cities in the world. The weather is extremely humid and warm, making it hard to stay in sunny spots for long. Definitely worth a visit. It also has the largest restaurant in the world. Worth a try, but be careful: it's expensive. Never seen so many restaurants before. It feels like the whole city is made up of restaurants. The sheer number of skyscrapers is impressive. However, the buildings themselves are rather dilapidated and plain.
Chongqing city: Must visit in China!
Chongqing is the one of the most popular city in china lately. With many famous attractions located in this city.
Top attractions like:
- Hongyadong, the famous unique design building that light up every night from 8pm. This is a must visit in Chongqing but you need to expect sea of people especially at night
- Xiahao Lane, a hills full of shops where you can observe the main island of chongqing from above

Things to do and eat in Chongqing, China
《A Wonderful Trip to Chongqing》
Hey, friends! I went to Chongqing some time ago. It's really an amazing place.
Chongqing is the only municipality directly under the central government in the central and western regions. It's a huge place with an area of 82,400 square kilometers. As soon as I arrived there, I felt the bustling atmosphere. There are so many people in Chongqing. I heard that the permanent resident population is 32.133 million. And here, not only are there Han people, but also many friends from ethnic minorities such as Tujia and Miao. It feels very ethnic.
Speaking of Chongqing's history, it has more than 3,000 years. It is the birthplace of Bayu culture. I visited Dazu Rock Carvings. Wow, those rock carvings are so exquisite. People can't help but admire the craftsmanship of the ancients. The China Three Gorges Museum and the Chongqing Hongyan Revolutionary History Museum also gave me a deeper understanding of Chongqing's history.
Chongqing's natural scenery is also excellent. It is a mountain city and also a river city. There are many mountains and rivers. I went to Jinyun Mountain and Jinfo Mountain. The scenery on the mountain is extremely beautiful and the air is particularly fresh. Standing on the mountain and looking down, the scenery is really intoxicating. Moreover, the Yangtze River and Jialing River are also very spectacular. The river water is sparkling.
Chongqing's economy is also very developed. It is an important industrial base and transportation hub. Walking on the street, you can see high-rise buildings and prosperous commercial streets everywhere. Industries such as automobiles, electronics, and chemical industry here are all very powerful.
However, if I have to say what I like the most, it has to be Chongqing's cuisine. Hot pot is a must-eat. The bright red pot bottom, with all kinds of delicious dishes, the taste is simply amazing. There is also Xiaomian. Having a bowl in the morning will make you energetic all day. Spicy chicken is also very delicious. The chicken is fragrant and spicy, and it's very enjoyable to eat.
I also went to many tourist attractions. Hongyadong is very beautiful at night. It is brightly lit, just like a castle in a fairy tale. Jiefangbei is also very imposing. It is a landmark building in Chongqing. Wulong Three Natural Bridges also opened my eyes. The uncanny workmanship of nature is really amazing.
In short, this trip to Chongqing is really great. I had a great time and ate a lot of delicious food. If you have a chance, you must go to Chongqing and see. I believe you will also fall in love with this charming city.#china #chongqing
