Go through the entrance on the right hand side of the 4th photo (^^) Music is playing in the dim light (^^) The atmosphere is cute (Photos 5-6) Santa Claus is on the second floor🎅🎄 No taking photos with your own mobile phone! Staff will take photos and videos for you♪ After talking with Santa Claus and taking photos, Go to the photo sales corner! You can buy them. (Photo 7) Purchasing only photos is 40 euros (about 6,500 yen)! ※Prices vary depending on the season, sometimes 35 euros. They will put it in a paper case with a string attached, a little larger than B4. ② The building on the right when facing the information desk (8th photo) *It's a short walk. If you go from the bus stop, you will arrive after passing the information building. Many people don't know this Santa Claus, but I personally found it better to talk to him here more slowly (^^)🎄 As with ①, taking photos with your own cell phone is prohibited. You can purchase photos! It's cheaper and smaller than ① (about the size of a folded B5 size photo 9th photo) ● Get a certificate of reaching the Arctic Circle! (11th photo) The Arctic Circle runs through Santa Claus Village. There is an Arctic Circle line on the premises, so you can step over it to take a commemorative photo and get a certificate of reaching the Arctic Circle! You can get it at the information desk and various other shops! (Charge: 5-6 euros) ● Send letters all over the world! Go to the main post office📮! Many types of postcards! Buy postcards and stamps, write a letter and post it! 📮 *There is a space to write a letter. The red postbox is designed to arrive in time for the Christmas season, and the yellow postbox is designed to arrive as quickly as possible. There is also a postbox in front of the Santa Claus Office (14th photo). Letters from children around the world are displayed, and you can apply for a letter from Santa Claus (9.9 euros). ●Enjoy Christmas shopping! #NovemberGood Places2024 This time I came to the Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi, and there was a very famous salmon restaurant inside! This restaurant is called “Santa’s Salmon Place” and it is a shop that only sells salmon set meals! This set meal includes potato salad, a piece of bread, and a large salmon! I think this salmon is the best grilled salmon I have ever eaten. There is a central stove in the store, which uses wood fire to cook it. With the salmon fat, it is simply top-notch! In addition, you can also order hot blueberry juice and drink it in winter, which will immediately fill you with a warm feeling! This time, I traveled to Rovaniemi, Finland, and visited a very special coffee shop called 'Coffee House'! This coffee shop is located in the city center and has a very Nordic style environment with different areas for customers to relax and dine! They sell a variety of breads, desserts, and drinks! For example, I ordered a mango cheesecake and hot chocolate. This coffee shop is a great choice for a leisurely time, perfect for warming up in the winter!

The first stop after COVID19 : Rovaniemi, Finland 🇫🇮 Santa Claus Village in winter is exactly what I have always dreamed of in my heart Thick snow and a white mist outside the window It is a bit tiring to walk but I still like it ❄️ The red cabins and the orange lights at night It really seems like Christmas is coming 🎄🎅🏻 There are not many activities, sleigh rides, reindeer cart rides, and then eat venison🫎 Walk and stop, take a sauna at night🧖♀️Watch the aurora if there is one Some people say that Santa Claus Village has serious light pollution But when I was taking a sauna, the pig brother guarding outside the house shouted: Yes! pole! Light! 🌌 I quickly showered and wiped the sweat off. I didn’t even have time to put on my underwear. In the recent trip being Rovaniemi, I have explored around the Arctic circle point and visited the Santa Claus village and even the husky village. The Santa Claus village has an office inside and you can get some souvenirs and send a postcard letter from Santa to your friend which is a really incredible experience. During the winter, it was extremely cold but I really liked the view over there. There’s also a temperature measure outside and it was -3 degrees! Rovaniemi is one of the coldest place in the world as it reaches the line of the Arctic circle. In my recent trip to Rovaniemi was fabulous as i saw lots of stunning nature and different views in there. In the first morning , I have crossed the river and I realised that some part of the river get frozen and the reflection is amazing! They take care of the dogs, they seems happy and very friendly and the staff was very cordial. It was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. We had great time. Don’t know about you, but I’ve always dreamed of meeting Santa Claus one day since I was a small kid. Little did I know that I get to travel to Finland and visit to the magical Santa Claus Village. My first stop in Finland was in Helsinki just like many other tourists’, so I rode a 10-hour overnight bus to Rovaniemi because it was the cheapest way to get there from Helsinki. It was so exhausting but worth it. After getting dropped off from the bus, I had to take an extra bus to the santa claus village. I arrived at around 9am and it was so pretty. Though the weather was freezing, the sun shined bright and made the village even more spectacular. What’s interesting is that you are actually in the arctic circle after you go inside. Having the reindeer ride was literally my dream come true. I’ve always loved reindeers and this was the first time i saw them. Never thought they were strong enough to actually pull me on the sleigh. But it was amazing and gave me “into the unknown” vibes. I didn’t get on the husky ride but it seemed fun too. Other than the rides, there were not much left to do in the village, but there were many souvenirs stores, food and cafes so you can spend a nice day here. A somewhat extreme tip for saving money is that you can walk from the village to the Rovaniemi airport to leave. It only takes around 30 minutes. There are usually flights from Rovaniemi to Helsinki but not many. On the day I left, I saw the board showing that my flight was the only flight of the airport on the entire day. For young travelers like me who’d like to check the Santa claus village off the bucket list and don’t mind the many efforts to get there, personally i think one day is perfectly enough. But if you have more time and budget, you should definitely stay a night in the Rovaniemi town and do some exploring there as well. #student #budgettrip #santa #finland #rovaniemi

This restaurant is actually called Kauppayhtio (with two dots over the last o) in Finnish and it means trade company. Well, their name is part of their brand as they do trade indeed but they’re trading burgers and pizzas to people. I didn’t try pizza this time as I was eager to have one of their well known burgers. The restaurant has been decorated using kind of pop-art / vintage style. I like it although it’s purposely designed to be a little unfinished, a little factory like. The most important part is the dining experience. The service is very much in line with their style mixing friendly and a little industrial style service but one thing they are very passionate about is their food. The burgers are worth tasting. The serving is original their style and the wall of chili sauces offers the customer a chance to give a significant boost to the burger. I had mine with side salad but fries and even loaded fries are also an option. The price of the meal is about 20 euros without shake and about 25 euros with the milkshake which is famous too and indeed tasty. So when compared to many other restaurants in the region the price is very reasonable but the biggest thing is their dedication and their willingness to do it with style.
