The history of the Jianqing Historical Trail dates back to the logging period in Taipingshan. This trail was originally part of the 'Jianqing Line Logging Railway,' used for transporting timber. As the logging industry declined, this railway gradually fell into disuse. Later, to preserve this history, relevant departments renovated parts of the route into a trail, retaining historical traces such as the railway, wooden horses, and cart axles. This makes the Jianqing Historical Trail not only a natural trail but also a historical one filled with a sense of nostalgia.

The restaurant offers brunch, light meals, and coffee drinks. If you're worried about not getting full, you can have lunch first and then come for afternoon tea. Also, note that the restroom is outside the store in a public facility (remember to bring your own toilet paper).
Vegetable Honey Burger - 360 TWD
Self-service utensils, the provided dishes are quite cute and photogenic, but it's challenging to place them together with the sea view. The Vegetable Honey Burger comes with salad and fries. The honey burger is quite large, with a soft inside and a chewy crust.
Surf and Turf Salad - 300 TWD
Includes duck breast and fried shrimp. The ingredients provided by this restaurant are mostly whole foods, with colorful additions like tomatoes, baby corn, and broccoli, making it look very nutritious. The fresh ingredients taste sweet, and both the duck and fried shrimp are quite delicious.
After resting at No. 9 Coffee, you can also explore the nearby tunnels and small vendors selling grilled sausages and grass jelly!

Just Sleep Jiaoxi Hotel Hot Spring Hotel in Jiaoxi, Yilan Travel
Finally had the chance to visit the highly popular Just Sleep Jiaoxi Hotel, a sub-brand under the Regent Group. I hope it lives up to the Regent standards and doesn't disappoint Jason.
We arrived at the hotel around 3:30 PM, and there were already many guests checking in at the front desk. The hotel has about ten parking spaces in front, which are usually full by noon. Additional parking is available at Taiwan Unicom nearby, just a five-minute walk away. The breakfast area is located behind the front desk on the first floor, and snacks and drinks are available from the afternoon until 10 PM. The wellness tea is quite good!
We booked the most basic double room. The room itself is small, but the bathroom, hot spring tub, and toilet are very spacious and comfortable. The TV is large, and the bed is very comfortable to sleep in. However, there are some minor issues: you can hear some drainage sounds, and the soundproofing in the hallway is not great. If someone closes their door roughly, it can shake the bedside table. It’s generally quiet at night, but light sleepers might be affected in the morning.
The hotel has a large public bath on the basement floor, which is very spacious and comfortable. I sweated a lot and felt completely refreshed. You must try it! There is also a small outdoor pool on the first floor and some game rooms on the second floor, which are worth checking out. Overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations and is a great place to stay. 👍

Matcha Mountain
Some hikers especially Catholic Religion do hiking into this mountain during Holy Week seasons to do some solemn reflection and at the same time to celebrate together the passion, death, resurrection of Jesus Christ. We started at 8:30am from the Church we reach the trail head around 9:30 to 10:00 am
Then we reached the top around 2:30-3pm in the afternoon overall that was a really nice experienced.
