V1 Boutique Hotel in Kanchanaburi is decorated in a Nordic style. It is simple and clean. The service is good. The rooms and bathrooms are large. The location is very good. There is a train station, a night market, massage parlors, and 711 within walking distance, which is quite convenient.

I spent 3 nights here and was pleasantly surprised by the cost and quality of the property. I stayed in an upstairs room which was large, clean and well equiped. I had a large double bed, lounge and bench area to work at. Staff were very friendly and the reception spoke enough English to cover all my needs. The breakfast was limited to one Western choice but that is to be expected. The premises is located some way from from Kanchanaburi town so a car would be needed. I had a noise problem in one room but staff moved me straight away. Overall a good 3 star property for a good price.

The hotel is simple but functional and clean. It is located on the main road and is therefore easy to reach by car and there is plenty of parking. Next door is a mall with a supermarket, Starbucks, etc. Unfortunately, the WiFi worked very poorly during our stay, but that seems to have been a temporary problem.

The key point was that the hotel's service was very considerate. They would lend you an umbrella when it rained. In the morning, I needed to take a taxi to the long-distance bus station. Boutique Raft Resort is better than the pictures. It really is a beautifully presented property right in sync with nature. I stayed in a River Kwai Suite which was spacious and nicely decorated with huge windows facing the water. I agree the bathrooms could do with a freshen up, as other reviews have suggested. The fridge was well stocked and priced, however there was no tea or coffee making facilities which was disappointing and I was charged 100 baht for a L coffee. That said the staff were exceptional, each and every one of them, even with their very limited English. The General manager who owns and runs the resort was super helpful, spoke excellent English and was very hands on. The food was well priced, presented and tasty, although a little basic. I was led to believe it would be easier to book my tours from the hotel on arrival. Unfortunately this really was an expensive option as a solo traveller, as everything was a ‘private’ tour with the resort van. The bike tour was also unavailable. The other thing to be aware of is there are dogs outside the property and they were not friendly. Perhaps I caught them on a bad day :/ I decided to go for a walk and they surrounded me barking aggressively. I love dogs but this meant a quick exit. Unfortunately I felt confined to the property from then on, which wasn’t necessary a bad thing but I would have liked to go exploring. I highly recommend this property you won’t be disappointed and I would love to come back.

When I stay that hotel , it is nice and good service. The employees are not good at Eng but easy to communicate with them.I am also rent Toe Toe there. It is very good and fare price.

Stayed one night after visiting Kanchanaburi and Erawan, and before going on to Ayutthaya. Arrived late afternoon and left early morning so a brief visit but we had a very pleasant stay. We had 2 double rooms right next to the main pool, which were spacious, air conditioned and comfortable. The pool was a welcome escape from the heat too! The evening meal was superb: we had a table right by the river and chose their set meal with a range of delicious dishes. Highly recommend. Breakfast was also super too. The staff were helpful and accommodating and we had a lovely stay. Wished we had time to stay longer!

I loved the hotel, the pool is beautiful. The decoration and the room size is great. The bathroom is small but well equipped with right amenities, and there is a standing shower that is great too. There is not elevator so if you are booked on the 2nd, 3rd or 4th floor make sure your knees are ok. Usually the staff helps with the luggage too. There is a but. The clealiness. The hotel seems to be clean as the colors are kind of dark, deep purple eggplant color. The room looks clean but there are small ants around the coffee and tea making facilities. We did have also ants in the sink in the bathroom. The sink had kind of patches of a white thing around. There are some damage parts in the room that should be repaired. Windows are huge and need to be cleaned too to enjoy that amazing view they have. Bed and linen are quite clean, the views from the room are amazing, full river kwai view in all floors. Lower floors, probably a little less, but views are stunning anyway. The breakfast is limited but sufficient. It is more than enough but the kitchen, open kitchen, is messy and untidy. There are little ants around the bread and croissants. The breakfast view is amazing, right in front of the river. will be amazing if they could decluttered the amount of chairs around. On the way to the pool there are 2 small rooms: one seems to be the kids playroom and the second one, kind of library or meeting room. Both are completely messy and full of staff, cluttered. Not a good look when you walk to the pool. The swimming pool is stunning, maybe with white marble tiles although the wooden floor are in desperated need of repair, some of the wooden boards needs to be fixed because walking bare feet can be even dangerous. We couldnt enjoy the hotel at night. but they have a nice cozy garden and a bar to enjoy the views of the river with some music. Staff is very friendly and willing to help, but seems they are the ones who took over the hotel, thats why probably the hotel is a bit messy and cluttered as there is not management present. The experiencie and the place has been great. We will defintely come back

I stayed in one of the first rooms you see at the resort so a bit of a walk from there to the restaurant but pleasant. overall the room was nice but after showering the entire bathroom would smell of sewage and around the back of the rooms outside also smelt. very confusingly quirky and if it weren't for the smell of sewage and the unnecessarily long walks between buildings it would be nice

Gorgeous hotel by the river with swimming pool overlooking the River Kwai. Very friendly and kind staff, accommodating us for breakfast when little or a lot of guests onsite. Lots of animals around too, we counted 5 dogs, 8 puppies, a few cats and kittens plus 3 peacocks! Would definitely come back as such a beautiful resort in nature, 15 minutes away from a climbing crag called Turtles Home. Thank you for having us!

Z9 - a beautiful small (30 room) resort right on the Srinakarin Dam with floating rooms. The resort is configured to small and large rooms - get the larger room as the small rooms are REALLY SMALL for two persons. We enjoyed kayaking both early am and late sunset on the clean, wide dam. Vistas were just beautiful. The resort is not for the elderly or anyone with movement issues as the walkways and indeed rooms are located right on the water - small children also need to be watched closely. Dining - a full breakfast and other meals were fine. Only drawback - the resort is really far from anything else though we tried to explore the vicinity.

We stayed one night at Suryian Villas while cycling through Thailand. Our main objective was a visit to Erawan falls nearby. The Villas are nice bungalows with great balconies. Our bungalow had a large fridge and kettle. Bed comfort was very good. Set back from the road a bit sheltered us from highway noise. Our host was very friendly and arranged a taxi to Erawan falls for 400 TB. (4 people all in return price)

I was the only one customer in the restaurant. AFTER finished eating, I saw the identical male employees on the floor playing cell phones in front of the cashire room, lacked of service mind and shameful attitude. The dining room was very dirty. Dusty with insects filled with spider webs under the roof. Toothpick,water on the floor. The female staff said drinks preparer has gone on holiday for 7 days, so no other drinks for sale, except, water, alcoholic and fizzy drinks beverages. When paying, the restaurant cannot issue a computer printed bill. Just spoke by mouth that is 530฿ have to pay cash only. computer bill must go upstairs in the lobby. The officer there said that there was no computer. Very unprofessional, asked for the manager. Staff in the lobby said is absent. Their service is below any standards in the industry. Very dissatisfied and disappointed!!!

一個衹有代理沒有評論的酒店被我開盲盒成功…… 用我媽的話來説這就是泰國的“農家樂”，有點私人莊園的感覺，車開進酒店的小道上哪個環境無敵了……草坪，薰衣草田，向日葵花田很出片喜歡拍照的小夥伴光是農家樂拍照都能拍半天。 湖邊的船屋很乾凈（乾淨是王道），估計太乾淨了所以“小動物”也喜歡，剛入住就有個壁虎在屋頂趕走後之後2天也就沒見過了它了。 酒店離愛侶灣公園車程10分鐘左右，比較偏所以吃飯都是在酒店解決的，價格不貴還挺好吃。399泰銖一個泰式烤肉火鍋套餐，很多的肉肉2大1小沒吃完。還可以送進房間在湖邊甲板上吃哦………

We stayed for 2 nights at Lake Hill Resort, it’s the perfect location on the river. We were a group of 4, two couples and stayed in the rafts on the river (we had a bathtub on our raft terrace, so if you want you could sit in the bath and watch the world go by from the privacy of your own raft). The rooms were a good size, very clean and well appointed, with a kettle so we could make tea. The pillows and mattress were soft, which is unusual for Thailand, so we all slept well in this peaceful location. Although the staff do not speak much English (and my Thai is limited), we were able to communicate using Google translate when we had an issue with the TV. I would not normally put the TV on however everything closes very early in this area (19:30 to 20:00). The Kayaks and paddle boards are free for guests to use, there is also a small swimming pool to cool off in, but we decided to jump into the river wearing the life jackets which were supplied. The breakfast was acceptable, eggs, toast, cereal, and some Thai rice/noodles. They also have some delicious cakes. I definitely recommend this resort, its perfect for exploring Kanchanburi and going to Hell Fire pass (We wanted to do the full walk at Hell Fire pass so needed more than 4 hours there not just an hour), you will require your own transport. My only criticism would be there is not very good signage at the front of the resort next to the road clearly naming Lake Hill Resort in English (its in Thai), so we found it difficult to locate and drove past several times.
