Brooklyn Heights City Councilman David Yassky tells us he’s not going to run for Brooklyn District Attorney.
He’s sending an email to supporters today to end the speculation that he would run a reform campaign against Charles Hynes.
“I love what I’m doing in the Council and there’s just so much more to do in the next term,” he said. “I continue to think we need new leadership in the District Attorney’s office.”
“Was it a tough decision?” we asked him.
“Not so much.”
