The country’s cutely titled Department of Transport, which has already barred cell phones from being used while driving, isn’t a fan of the Internet-connected face computers either. A spokesperson from the department told U.K.’s Stuff magazine that Glass could be distracting to drivers, even if they’re not watching porn:

“It is important that drivers give their full attention to the road when they are behind the wheel and do not behave in a way that stops them from observing what is happening on the road,” they said.

Now, a labyrinth of laws already exist in U.K.’s books that outlaw drivers from being distracted while in transport, including a new “careless driving” law that penalizes drivers who aren’t paying attention. The country’s 2003 ban on mobile phones could also apply to Glass.

At least you guys have One Direction to occupy yourself with, I guess!
