Everyone Looked Polished and Amazing at the ‘Girls’ Season Four Premiere

The nation’s foremost controversial 30-minute television program made its fourth-season debut last night in New York City.

The show, Girls, employs various hip 20-something actors who fit in on the gentrified streets of Brooklyn. The characters they play on the show are often disheveled and cranky, yelling at each other and wearing garments such as “shorteralls.” They are somewhat like babies in that way, but they are also strangely relatable.

In real life, though, these actors and their peers are incredibly glam, polished, sleek and shiny, and not all that relatable unless you live in a dream world and you think nothing of visiting the Museum of Natural History in a custom Creatures of the Wind caftan, like Lena Dunham. Click through this slideshow to take in the glamor and splendor of the Girls cast last night.
