Designers including jewelry star Jennifer Meyer and evening wear expert Monique L’Huller gathered last night at the Sunset Tower Hotel, at the behest of LA doyennes Jacqui Getty and Crystal Lourd. The ladies were on hand to welcome Sarah Rutson, Vice President of Global Buying and chief-hot-brand-spotter of Net-A-Porter on a visit to LA. As part of the city’s growing fashion presence, Net-A-Porter join Burberry and Tom Ford, who both recently held runway shows in the city, in supporting the blossoming scene . Last night, under groovy LA skies, Net-A-Porter’s brand portfolio which includes Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Givenchy, Stella McCartney and Isabel Marant was well represented.
