Carolina Herrera
Carolina Herrera, born in 1939, is a Venezuelan-American fashion designer known for her exceptional personal style, elegant designs and for dressing First Ladies Jacqueline Onassis, Laura Bush, Michelle Obama and Melania Trump. She launched her brand in 1981, becoming synonymous with sophistication, innovation, and luxury. Her collections, featuring ready-to-wear, bridal, and fragrances, have captivated a global audience, including celebrities and first ladies. Herrera has been on the Council of Fashion Designers of America board since 1999 and was awarded the CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year in 2004 and Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008.
