Merchant's House Museum
The Merchant’s House Museum is located at 29 East Fourth Street, New York, NY. The institution was built in 1832 and is one of the finest surviving examples of late Federal and Greek Revival architecture. The museum is dedicated to preserving the home and lifestyle of a prosperous merchant family from the 19th century. It features original furnishings, decorative arts and personal belongings of the Tredwell family who lived there for nearly 100 years.
