Attention non-immigrant visa applicants! Beginning January 7, 2025, each non-immigrant visa applicant must present a DS-160 confirmation page at the time of their interview that includes the same barcode number that was used to schedule their appointment. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the applicant’s visa appointment. Applicants may correct the DS-160 barcode number associated with their appointment up until two business days before their interview. To do so, applicants should log-in to their profile at USTravelDocs.com and select “Update Profile.”

On December 9th, we marked the 15th Anniversary of the U.S.-Oman Free Trade Agreement at a symposium hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion (MOCIIP) and the U.S. Embassy Muscat, in collaboration with Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry OABC was honored to take part, with Harshal Dutia, our Director of Trade and Investment, joining a distinguished panel alongside Faisal Al-Nabhani (State Street), Khalid Alshuaibi (Oman National Program for Private Sector & Foreign Trade Development (Nazdaher)), Ali Khadra (Embassy of Oman in Washington DC), Hussain Al-Yafai (Standard Chartered, Muscat), Emmee Haun (Cross Border Connections) and Nasim Sadr-Fala (Cross Border Connections). Harshal shared valuable insights into fostering deeper trade relations and offered practical guidance for Omani companies exporting to the USA. Rebecca Olson, CEO of OABC, delivered powerful closing remarks, emphasizing the need for increased investment—both time and money—from governments and the private sector to fully realize the potential of the U.S.-Oman Free Trade Agreement.
