سعداء بالإعلان عن تعيين الشيخ ناصر بن حمد بن ناصر آل ثاني رئيساً لمجلس إدارة الشركة، بعد جهود كبيرة قدمها الشيخ محمد بن عبدالله آل ثاني، ونتطلع معه لمزيد من الإنجازات الواعدة.✨

خلفاً للشيخ محمد بن عبدالله ال ثاني مجلس إدارة الشركة العمانية القطرية للاتصالات يعلن تعيين الشيخ ناصر بن حمد بن ناصر آل ثاني رئيسا لمجلس الإدارة. شغل الشيخ/ ناصر منصب المدير التنفيذي الإقليمي لمجموعة Ooredoo في الشرق الأوسط، كما وشغل سابقاً عدداً من المناصب المحورية بما في ذلك: الرئيس التنفيذي للشؤون المؤسسية في مجموعة Ooredoo، وقبل ذلك الرئيس التنفيذي للشؤون التجارية والرئيس التنفيذي للأعمال في Ooredoo قطر، حيث حقق أهداف إيرادات قياسية وقاد مبادرات كبرى مثل عمليات كأس العالم 2022. ** The Board of Directors of Omani Qatari Telecommunications Company announces the appointment of Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad bin Nasser Al Thani as the successor to Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Thani as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Sheikh Nasser previously held the position of Regional CEO of Ooredoo Group in the Middle East, and also held a number of pivotal positions including: Chief Corporate Officer at Ooredoo Group, and before that Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Business Officer at Ooredoo Qatar, where he achieved record revenue targets and led major initiatives such as the 2022 World Cup operations.

ضمن الجهود التي نبذلها لتعزيز التحول الرقمي وتطوير البنية الأساسية للتعليم، سعدنا بتوقيع عقود جديدة مع وزارة التربية والتعليم‎ لتطوير وترقية خدمات الإنترنت والهاتف بالمدارس الحكومية. ‎وبموجب هذه العقود سنعمل على توفير خدمات الهاتف اللازمة وزيادة سرعات الإنترنت في المدارس بمقدار عشرة أضعاف (من 100 ميجابت في الثانية إلى 1 جيجابت في الثانية)، وكل هذا بهدف دعم العملية التعليمية وتسهيل الوصول إلى الموارد الرقمية. ‎يهدف هذا المشروع إلى تعزيز جودة التعليم وتوفير بيئة تعليمية متطورة تتماشى مع متطلبات العصر الرقمي. هذا التعاون يُظهر الالتزام المشترك بين القطاعين الحكومي والخاص لدعم التحول الرقمي في التعليم، من أجل توفير بيئة تعليمية متطورة لأجيال المستقبل. #طوّر_عالمك *** As part of our efforts to promote digital transformation and develop education infrastructure, we are pleased to sign new contracts with the Ministry of Education to develop and upgrade internet and telephone services in public schools. Under these contracts, we will provide the necessary telephone services and increase internet speeds in schools by tenfold (from 100 Mbps to 1 Gbps), all with the aim of supporting the educational process and facilitating access to digital resources. This project aims to enhance the quality of education and provide an advanced learning environment in line with the requirements of the digital age. This collaboration demonstrates the joint commitment between the public and private sectors to support the digital transformation of education, in order to provide an advanced learning environment for future generations. #UpgradeYourWorld

The agreement was signed by Bassam Yousef Al Ibrahim, CEO of Ooredoo and His Excellency Dr Hamad Al Busaidi, Governor of Al Buraimi, in the presence of senior officials from both sides. This partnership aims to enhance developmental and infrastructure projects in the governorate, contributing to local economic growth and sustainability. سعدنا بتلبية دعوة سعادة حليمة بنت راشد الزرعية رئيسة هيئة تنمية المؤسسات الصغيرة والمتوسطة لزيارة المبنى الجديد لهيئة تنمية المؤسسات الصغيرة والمتوسطة. تم خلال الزيارة الإطلاع على مركز خدمات المراجعين وعلى حاضنات الهيئة وأقسامها المختلفة والتعرف على الخدمات المقدمة لرواد الأعمال. كما وتم بحث أوجه التعاون الممكنة بين الطرفين. *** We were pleased to accept the invitation of Her Excellency Halima bint Rashid al-Zaria, Chairperson, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority, to visit the new headquarters of the Authority. During the visit, we explored the Customer Services Center, the Authority's incubators and its various departments, while learning about the services provided to entrepreneurs. We also discussed possible areas of cooperation between Ooredoo and the Authority.
