Petrogas 25th Anniversary Drone Show. Celebrating 25 Years of Excellence, we have organized a spectacular drone show at Al Bustan Palace, Ritz A Carlton Hotel. Hundreds of drones illuminated the night sky, painting the story of our journey from our beginnings in Oman to the gradual expansion of our operations and offices across Europe and Africa. Petrogas Rima LLC (PGR) successfully held its 2nd QHSE Contractors Meeting chaired by Mohammed Al Harthy, PGR General Manager. The session included productive brainstorming and discussions led by PGR QHSE Manager, with active participation from contractors, contract holders, and line managers. A key focus of the meeting was the development of the 2025 QHSE Plan, during which PGR highlighted critical priorities for contractors to address in the upcoming year. PGR extends its gratitude to all participants and looks forward to continued collaboration to achieve even higher QHSE standards in 2025.

Petrogas remains a reliable supplier of domestic gas, with both the A15 and B10 platforms now in steady production and meeting performance targets. The successful delivery of the Stage 2+ Project is a testament to outstanding teamwork over the past two years. This achievement not only enhances our footprint in the A/B blocks but also creates value and opportunities for future developments in the region and beyond. Today our beloved Oman celebrates its 54th National Day, marking milestones and remarkable achievements under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik. Happy Omani National Day.

Petrogas held today its Corporate Annual Town Hall Meeting of 2024 at the Mandarin Oriental. More than 35 employees were also honoured at a Long Service Awards ceremony held during the meeting. The Chairman Dr. Mohammed Al Barwani alongside Vice Chairman of MB Group and MD of Petrogas, Mr. Usama Al Barwani, and Management Team applauded colleagues and reiterated the company’s appreciation to its long serving members, recognising their ongoing commitment and contribution to making Petrogas the success it is today.

Petrogas North Sea Ltd (a subsidiary of Petrogas E&P LLC, headquartered in Muscat, Oman) is pleased to announce that it has safely drilled, as Operator, an exploration well in the UKCS Block 47/3f-16 to a TD of 3457m and encountered gas in the Rotliegendes. The well results were significantly better than expected, with improved reservoir characteristics relative to the prognosis. The well has been P&A’d and Petrogas will now move the Noble Resilient HDJU to the Abbey Gas field in Block 47/3i to drill an appraisal well.

Embracing a safety culture stands as a core pillar in all Petrogas operations and in line with this commitment; Quality Health Safety Security and Environment Department (QHSSE) has organized The Petrogas Annual Corporate QHSSE Summit 2024 themed ‘Beyond Today’.   The summit included a discussion panel and various important topics such as the company’s QHSSE’s leadership vision and enhancing its performance and commitment to QHSSE excellence. These sessions were attended by all Petrogas and its subsidiaries employees in Muscat and virtually attended by Petrogas employees in Rima Field, Daleel and Netherland Office.
