Intel CFO Hints At New Windows Version Launching In 2024

At the recent City 2023 Global Technology Conference, David Zinsner, the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Intel Corporation, made a comment that referenced there being a “Windows refresh” in 2024.

During the virtual event Zinsner confirmed that a new version of Microsoft’s Windows operating system, colloquially dubbed a “Windows refresh,” is set to launch in 2024, creating the strongest confirmation yet that a major upgrade for Windows is on the way.

Though Zinsner used the term “Windows refresh,” it is more likely to be named Windows 12 or another similar name.

Whilst there has been no official confirmation from Microsoft that Windows 12 is on the way, rumours have been circling for some time now. From a possible system requirements bump, to reports of Microsoft working on “CorePC”  for the Windows 12 timeframe, and more.
