Johns Hopkins Gender Equity/GBV Evidence Accelerator Fellowship(Funding available)
About the Program
The Gender Equity/GBV Evidence Accelerator Fellowship is a year-long, part-time cohort program that offers mentorship and coursework through the Center for Global Women’s Health and Gender Equity (CGWHGE) at Johns Hopkins University. This fellowship is aimed at practitioners, professionals, and scholars working on gender equity, with a particular focus on gender-based violence (GBV) in low- and middle-income settings. The program is designed to enhance skills in evidence generation, synthesis, analysis, and translation for gender equity and GBV.
Fellows will complete select coursework from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (BSPH) and receive ongoing mentorship from CGWHGE faculty. The fellowship also provides opportunities for professional networking and development through virtual activities and one in-person cohort gathering throughout the year. Fellows will undertake a mini-project, such as secondary data analysis or evidence synthesis, with support from CGWHGE faculty. The estimated time commitment is approximately 10 hours per week, increasing to 20 hours per week during coursework periods. Travel for in-person events will also be required.
