Foodies from Rao’s, Fresco By Scotto and a ‘Sopranos’ star hit hot Hamptons red sauce spot Arthur & Sons
It’s the hot spot where the owners of other hot spots meet to eat.
Bigwigs from Rao’s and Fresco by Scotto, along with a former star of “The Sopranos,” were spotted at the Hamptons coolest parm place, Arthur & Sons, over Fourth of July weekend.
Rao’s whiz Frank Pellegrino Jr. and his exec chef Dino Gatto were “holding court at ‘the Don table’ ” over spicy rigatoni, meatballs, chicken parmigiana and spumoni.
Also at the table were p.r. whiz Ron Berkowitz, Rao’s Tom Marra and MJ Lide and Pellegrino’s wife, Caroline.
Additionally at the Long Island outpost of the West Village eatery in NYC was another power pair of Italian cuisine, Rosanna and Elaina Scotto, who “brought the whole family, including mom, for a true Italian feast,” a spy said.
We hear former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo “pulled up in a vintage car and shared a chicken piccata and Caesar salad with his wife.”
On the new outdoor patio, the Amalfi Terrace, “Drea de Matteo and her crew” dined at Joe Isidori’s eatery.
Also spotted was crooner Sal “The Voice” Valentinetti.
Michelin-starred chef, restaurateur and cookbook author Isidori has previously said that Arthur & Sons is an ode to his family’s legacy in the NYC restaurant industry.
