Jessica Alba’s estranged husband, Cash Warren, admitted their marriage was ‘hard work’ months before reported split
Jessica Alba’s estranged husband, Cash Warren, spoke about the “hard work” that went into their marriage just months before news of their split.
“I think, ultimately, the friendship and support and just knowing that your partner has your back means everything to us,” he told Us Weekly in July 2024.
The film producer — who married Alba in 2008 — also revealed that “the secret” to their union was “having each other’s back.”
“It’s hard work, but we roll up our sleeves and we do it,” Warren, 45, said of navigating the ups and downs with the “Fantastic Four” actress.
“It’s wild. It’s the longest relationship I could have ever imagined,” he added.
The pair — who share three children — have been together for 20 years.
In a previous interview with the outlet, Warren revealed how he and Alba, 43, would spend quality time together without their kids.
“For us, it’s getting out of the house and going and staying somewhere else for a night,” he said.
“Unplugging is big. We love taking walks. We love chatting. We love eating good food together. We have so many of the same interests that we enjoy. What’s awesome is that we’re also still willing to participate.”

Alba, meanwhile, notably admitted in July 2021 that her marriage to Warren felt like “going through the motions” during an appearance on Katherine Schwarzenegger’s Instagram show, “Before, During and After Baby.”
“It’s all rosy for two and a half years. But then after that, you become roommates,” the Honest Company founder said at the time.
“You have the responsibilities. It’s a lot of, like, checking the boxes, right?” she added.
On Wednesday, sources told TMZ that the pair recently separated and are headed for divorce. Neither Alba or Warren has publicly addressed the news.
Despite the “Trigger Warning” star’s silence on the matter, she has been photographed without her wedding ring in paparazzi sightings lately.
Although the outlet did not cite a reason for the split, a source later told People that Alba thought it was “hard to keep the spark” with Warren.
