On December 16, PEZA Director General Tereso O. Panga and DOLE Secretary Bienvenido E. Laguesma sealed the agreement to further streamline and enhance the implementation of the PEZA Visa application and processing. More importantly, the landmark agreement marks the beginning of more collaboration between PEZA and DOLE on relevant aspects of ecozone management and ease of doing business initiatives. 🔎 𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊! | On 19 December 2024, Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) Director General Tereso O. Panga welcomed new Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO) Board of Director Mr. Wilson Tecson at the PEZA Head Office to discuss partnerships on trade and investment promotion. In his capacity as a Board Director handling trade and investments, Tecson assured PEZA of the support of the MECO Board, headed by Chairman Cheloy Garafil, in its initiatives towards attracting more Taiwanese investments in the country. DG Panga expressed, "PEZA shall fortify its partnership with MECO in conducting various investment missions geared towards increasing Taiwanese investments to the country." As of Aug 2024, PEZA hosts a total of 82 projects with Taiwanese equity bringing in more than PhP 17 Billion of investments and creating above 20,000 jobs. #PEZA #MECO #InvestInThePhilippines
