INNOTECH, the Regional Center for Educational Innovation and Technology, is one of the 24 specialized regional centers, network and permanent secretariat of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO). The Center is dedicated to identifying common and unique education problems and needs of Southeast Asian countries and developing innovative and technology-based solutions to address these needs. The Center aids in educational development within and outside the region through its service areas: training and human resource development, research and development, knowledge management and special programs focusing on key areas of concern in the Southeast Asian education community. We see the Center as a major player and agenda-setter in the region to ensure that a better, brighter and more promising future awaits every learner in the region – whenever, wherever, and in whichever way learning and development takes place.

SEAMEO INNOTECH under the UNESCO-INNOTECH partnership on Preparing Teachers to Innovate Using Digital Technologies organized and facilitated the capacity building of 15 faculty from the various campuses of the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University(DMMMSU) in La Union from February 24 to 26, 2025. Throughout the training workshop, participants engaged in interactive sessions, hands-on activities, and in-depth discussions on AI technologies, ethical considerations, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and strategies to enhance communication and academic practices. These sessions equipped educators with practical knowledge and skills to effectively integrate AI-driven solutions into teaching and learning, fostering a more dynamic, interactive, and technology-enhanced educational environment. As the workshop concluded, participants developed an action research initiative focused on sustaining and expanding AI integration in the teaching and learning process. Ravago participated as a panelist at the Asian Development Bank's (ADB) knowledge-sharing event on February 24, 2025, at the ADB Headquarters in Manila. The event, "Best Practices and Challenges in Development Projects in the Philippines," brought together key experts to discuss ways to improve policy implementation and development impact. Dr. Ravago shared insights on strengthening capacity-building efforts to equip practitioners with data-driven skills and adaptive governance strategies, especially as the Philippines transitions to upper-middle-income status. She was joined by DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian, NEDA Undersecretary Joseph J.
