Ibis Styles Hotels in Barcelona

Rooms are clean and service is good. The location is not far from the beach and there is free bus connecting to the old Town which takes 20-25 minutes. Swimming pool is available as well but unfortunately we did not bring the swimming clothes. In total the hotel deserves the expenses.

First time in Barcelona. I gave it 1 star less as i was not informed on checking in that the aircon is not working. The night staff on duty on the 19/6/24 (a pity i didn't get his name), was very helpful and offered a room swap for me given the room was boiling hot with a aircon that's not working or alternatively a mobile aircon and i settled for the latter and he filled it with water and ice and took it to my room. Same as Jose on the 20/6/24 night shift and Joan 20 & 21 day shift, were all pleasant and provided excellent customer service with a smile. Continental breakfast as ok to get the day started, nothing to write home about. Other than that, it was a lovely and clean small room with a comfy bed and a safe but no mini bar. Walking into the hotel, there's no ramp though if you got big luggage, baby stroller or knee challenges but there is a lift to the rooms. There's luggage store room, which was very handy. I was catching the evening train to Madrid and was able to leave the luggage all day until my departure time. Very handy location with heaps of restaurants, cafes, bars, convenient store, buses stop outside the hotel and metro to the right across the road less than a minute walk or to the left another metro line 8 minutes down the road and the Casa Bastllo just a walking distance. I had taken the metro from the airport on arrival. On departure, i took the metro to Barcelona Sants to catch the train to Madrid. Highly recommended hotel and wouldn't hesitate staying here again.
