Good location and very clean

Wouldn't hesitate to come back to this accommodation next time we visit Ulladulla. Both our room, and that of friends who booked a larger room were clean & well appointed. Parking was right outside the unit. Shower was a good size & walk in type. Free WiFi was excellent. Staff were a pleasure to talk to. The bed was nice & firm & the Split System Air-conditioning worked well & was reasonably quiet.

This is your typical motel, where you park your car in front of your room (convenient). The ground floor room was quieter than we thought it would be. There was plenty of hot water. Room was warm (it was v cold outside). Bed comfortable. Tea/ coffee making, small fridge and microwave, plus plates , cutlery and glasses and cups. Everything we needed for the price paid

I sent a complaint about this property to the head office before making a poor review. I was in Ulladulla for a funeral and had driven from Port Macquarie that day. My complaint was mostly about how dirty the room was. This is the response I received: Hello Diane, Thank you for your feedback. We will pass this on for our staff to read. We have a discount on our website if you book directly on our website, you can save up to 15%.  We cannot control what the other website sell the rooms for. We have a reception sign right above the office door. Our staff are trained daily as they meet all type of people in different situations. They always try to make people feel welcome  - unfortunately this cannot always be accomplished. Our staff try to make everyone feel welcome when they check in. You were given 2 keys for your room- both these keys can be used to open your door, as well as be used in the power box. On your check in letter the staff write your room number & the WIFI password, for you to be able to used when needed- we also have an after-hours number you can call if you require further information. This is located in multiple places on the office door, next to the check in box as well this number is located in your compendium. Our staff inform guest of the back gate in case guest would like to use it- this is only a suggestion. Our pool is open while staff is on duty from 9 am till 6 pm we also have after hours staff which can let you in till a reasonable time. You never informed the staff of the light not working. You never once let staff know about any of your other concerns -as they would have been more than happy to clean up the room or upgrade you to another room at no extra cost.   We closed breakfast down due to covid in 2019 and we have not reopened it. I have had a look on hotels.com and can not see where it have breakfast advised. We are not a 5 star accommodation. We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us, but we are unable to correct any of your complaints if we are not informed of them until you have checked out and gone home. We absolutely loved our stay at Motel Molly! The rooms are so luxe and the whole vibe of the hotel is so unique and cool. The interiors throughout the motel are divine and the pool area is beautiful! The beach is just across the road along with a great little place for coffee and brekkie. We stayed in the pink building and can't wait to come and visit again and stay in another coloured building!

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY I am utterly shocked at how rude and unprofessional these owners are. Upon check in the receptionist “needed” to take a photo of my license/write down ALL the details of it, which I was uncomfortable with, the lady at reception went off unnecessarily claiming the “police required it” and that “we wont be staying in any other motels again because it is a requirement everywhere”. I have stayed in countless motels around Australia and I can assure you that no where else have they insisted that they record all details on my licence. I searched online and through the guest book and all I found was that guests must ‘present’ id upon request which I happily complied with, no where does it say they need to record the details on my id. After her and (im assuming) her husband verbally abused us I asked for a refund (of $400) which she refused to give us. After the two of them showed us our room and condescendingly explained how the door locked I smelt the stench of alcohol on the male owners breath. While unpacking our car we spoke to the guests staying above us who had also had a terrible experience while checking in. The guest book in the room was full of outdated information such as a complimentary wifi password that didn’t work on any available networks, and an extensive list of rules that I have never seen at another motel, INCLUDING taking your OWN rubbish out of the room, which I refuse to do when I am paying $200 per night. The sheets are polyester which make for an incredibly uncomfortable sleep. The owners refuse refunds regardless of the amount of notice you give. Opening hours are between 3-6pm, so if you have to checkin late you will pay a $75 call out fee even though the owners live on site. The owners responses to negative comments are honestly hilarious and just show how obnoxious and immature they are, and I am interested to see how they twist my story to make me sound like a bad guest. I am very disappointed that I have wasted so much money on this terrible motel, Mollymook has so many better accommodation options and I would recommend staying anywhere else!
