Wuhan is more than just a city of ten miles of foreign concessions

👀First-time visitors to Wuhan are often amazed by the city's vibrant nightlife. When the lights come on at Zhiyin Pier, Wuhan transforms into Old Hankou, with its old piers and dance halls. Each character has their own story to tell, and even before you enter the venue, you feel like you're already part of the show. At the end of the night, you'll have plenty of photo opportunities. - 🉐I was surprised to learn that Zhiyin Pier had reopened, and my friends from out of town were the ones who told me about it. As soon as I arrived in Wuhan, I headed straight there. ✅Here's what I experienced: 🚢The pier is home to a vintage 1930s steamship, which sails along the Yangtze River with a full load of stories from that era. 📸The biggest surprise was that all the actors were mingling with the guests, making you feel like you were part of the show. The entire ship is a stage, and the stories are everywhere. It's a unique and exciting experience that never gets old. 🉑This is a one-of-a-kind experience in China. Unlike traditional river cruises, you can not only enjoy the show, but also go up on deck to take in the night views. - ‼️‼️Here are some tips for taking photos: Since most of the time is spent watching the show, there isn't much time for taking photos. I recommend arriving early to get some good shots. 1️⃣Old Pier: You'll have plenty of time to wait for the boat and take photos here. The first scene of the show also takes place here. 2️⃣Cabin: The vintage rooms are filled with props that make for great photos. You'll have about 10 minutes to explore and even send a postcard. 3️⃣Top Deck: After the show, everyone heads to the top deck to enjoy the night views, listen to music, and dance. The deck offers the best views of the city, with the nightscape of the two rivers and four banks stretching out before you. - Finally, BTW The shoe-shining guy on the second floor 🧍‍♂️ left a lasting impression on me. His energy and enthusiasm made me feel the endless possibilities of youth.
