So, plan a weekend cycling trip along the East Lake Loop to experience the tranquility of nature in the bustling city. Route: Take the subway to Liyuan Station, scan a shared bike after exiting the station, and start from the East Lake Liyuan entrance. Pass the Greenway Music Station, turn left at OCT Ecological Wetland Park, turn right after Happy Valley, and take Baima Road to Guanchutai. Return to Liyuan via the lakeside greenway. The whole trip takes about 4 hours. The scenery along the way is beautiful, with large golden soapberry trees, reddish-brown metasequoia forests, colorful Chinese tallow trees, and grapefruit and ornamental orange trees full of fruit. The autumn colors are overwhelming. You will also pass by several small villages, where you can pick vegetables in the fields or buy vegetables and fruits picked by villagers along the road.
