The dishes combine local and Western flavors, which are a feast for the eyes and taste buds. Overall, it is very nice. 🌟Mr. Yak Yogurt Shop I recommend the fried barley with yogurt! It has a thick layer of milk skin on top, and the taste is rich! I basically have a cup every day. 🌟Guangming Qionggang Sweet Tea House Sweet tea is a must-try in Lhasa! This one is on Barkhor Street, and the yak beef noodles are especially delicious. On our drive through Tibet we stopped to see Karola Glacier. This glacier has a peak elevation of 5560 meters and had so much snow in early October. It is located in Shigatse in the Tibet Autonomous Region and is located close to Mount Naiqing Kangsang, which is one of the four tallest mountains in Tibet. We passed here after spending our morning viewing the stunning Yamdrok Lake and then continued on our way towards the highlight of our trip…Everest Base Camp! The finale of my Tibet trip during the new year holiday in the year 2022 was with visits to Rabse Nunnery in Gyantse, Karola Glacier, and beautiful Yumdroke Lake. As much as I enjoyed this beautiful nature, felt awfully sorry for the generations to come as there might be a little chance for them to enjoy what I enjoyed today with melting glaciers due to climate change.
