#2024mapped Harbin was super cold 🥶 but it was magical! You definitely need to wear the right clothes to avoid getting frostbite or getting sick because of the coldness of the weather. However, hotel rooms are warm so make sure you pack light clothing as well for sleeping. I especially enjoyed seeing all the ice sculptures. We even got to see people working on the ice sculptures that aren’t finished yet at Sun Island. The Ice and Snow World was also very pretty with all the featured famous buildings all over Asia. #harbin is definitely worth visiting!

#2024mapped This is the Kanda river, less known, less crowded, but no less a beautiful cherry blossom spot along the river in Tokyo. Yes, you won't find numerous shops selling strawberry champagne here, but you won't also find crowds. Very nice, charming river, a true hidden spot for locals. 🤫 Take a walk that will take approximately an hour down the river and enjoy the views all for yourself.

#2024mapped Yamanakako Hana no Miyako Park 花の都公園 It's a noce park with lots of seasonal flowers. We visited it during the sunflower festival, and it was amazing! Soon after, there should be a cosmos flower festival. If you are lucky or if you come very early in the morning, you can take pictures of Mt. Fuji in the background. In general, the visit to the park may be combined with some local attractions such as Lake Yamanaka.

Day 1 Head to Namsan Tower for early morning panoramic views of the city! Take a cable car up and walk around and enjoy the scenic beauty. 🚡 Go shopping in Myeongdong for the afternoon. 🛍️ Explore skincare shops, street food stalls, and eat some tteokbokki! 💄 🍢 As it heads towards evening, walk to the Cheonggyecheon Stream in the city center. Boston is a compact and walkable city with a great amount of neighbourhoods to discover. The best of which are:- Beacon hill- Located just above the famous Boston common, this affluent neighbourhood is full of narrow cobble stoned streets and a great array of independent cafes. South End- Another district with historic housing and independent cafes, it almost feels like you are in Paris or London walking around the town houses. Boston common and public gardens- At the heart of the city lies the public garden and Boston common a place that draws in locals during all 4 seasons. #2024mapped August 2024 in Hong Kong was a sensory delight! My adventure began with a stay at the ChungKing Mansion, which placed me right in the heart of the city. I couldn’t resist diving into Hong Kong’s famous culinary scene—starting with the flaky egg tarts, mouthwatering dumplings, and an indulgent KaiKai dessert that was simply unforgettable. I spent my days strolling by the Clock Tower and Victoria Harbour, soaking in the breathtaking skyline. A highlight was my trip to the Monster Building, with its iconic stacked design. Venturing to the other side of Hong Kong, I was transported back in time as I admired the vintage Hong Kong buses. Hiking around Jeju island was one of the highlights of our South Korea trip! At first, we felt unlucky to have cloudy skies, but it was perfect weather for a long walk - and eventually the sun came out! ☀️ The Jeju Olle path goes around the entire island, and is split into 27 sections. It’s easy to cover a section or two in a day! Each section is varied and passes multiple scenic points. It’s easy to take the bus to a particular starting point and follow the trail from there - it is signposted with trail markers the entire way! Nothing beats Turkey in the summer! But it’s hard to choose between the sights, history, culture and excitement of Istanbul, and the beautiful relaxing beaches of the south! Lots of people don’t know that the Princes Islands are just a short ferry ride away from the centre of Istanbul. These car free islands are full of lovely beaches and feel a world away from the chaos of the city - it’s perfect if the city gets too much! The biggest islands are Buyukada, Heybeliada and Kinaliada. The main dishes, hamburger and ramen, are especially impressive and delicious! You can choose either mini or regular size for both. The burgers are served in actual buns, while the ramen is served in a bowl, making it easy to imagine the size of the burgers and ramen. Personally, I liked the beef bone soup ramen the best. I couldn't help but drink the soup all the way through. It was a great restaurant, and you could feel the owner's attention to detail.
