This was a weekend trip to tokyo. Thanks to a brilliant airline deal. I went in around 5pm and the place had a decent crowd. The place was big and had nice ambient lights making it look modern and calming. The big yebisu logo was so distinct and eye catching. I went to check out the brewing process which via a quick GIF and then proceeded to walk around the room for the history of yebisu beer. The weekend was thanks to a fine deal on Japan air, we were able to make a trip to Osaka and then explore kyoto. This was a fantastic decision and deal. The entrance ticket was a lovely Goshuin - you can obtain an official inking by the exit, but this closes 30minutes early. There is no close up entrance around the tower, so it was a little difficult to capture the contents within. The natural beauty here is breathtaking, and the vibrant autumn leaves in November made it truly magical. The serene atmosphere and stunning scenery make it a perfect spot for relaxation and reflection. Are you a fan of nature? Imagine eating in a rice field in the middle of Ayutthaya Ancient City! Rak Na Cafe Ayutthaya is a beautiful cafe and restaurant about 20 minutes by car from Ayutthaya Train Station. Getting There - Rent a tuktuk or book a car using Grab from Ayutthaya. I recommend renting a tuktuk for a return trip as it may be difficult to find a car to return to the city. Remember to negotiate the price with your driver before the trip! Attractions - There are plenty of photospots at Rak Na Cafe. From swings to bridges and a tiny train, there's a lot to do here after eating. Walking in the rice field is really relaxing! Food & Restaurants - There's both a cafe and a restaurant on site. The cafe is self-service while the restaurant provides table service. The Thai food is authentic and reasonably priced. If you're only here for drinks, you can buy a package of two beverages and sit in one of the wooden Thai houses above water. On the day we went, 1 kg of grilled shrimp was 800 Baht. During my trip to Nanjing, I accidentally stumbled upon the Ganxi Former Residence. It was an unexpected and delightful experience. Later, I learned that this is the Ganxi Former Residence. The Ganxi Former Residence in Nanjing city was built during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. It is commonly known as the 'Ninety-nine and a half rooms' and is the largest and most complete ancient residence building still existing in Chinese cities. This place features the characteristics of Jiangnan-style residential buildings, such as blue bricks, small tiles, corridors, and lattice windows. It also has the characteristics of multi-entry and through-hall residential buildings. Inside the folk museum, there are exhibitions of intangible cultural heritage, making it a worthwhile place to visit! Get off at Sanshan Street on Metro Line 1.

Thian Hock Keng 天福宫 was built in 1840 along Telok Ayer Street, a bustling meeting point among min (闽) businessmen and an important congregation point for Hokkiens. Upon the completion of Thian Hock Keng, southbound immigrants who had just landed or northbound immigrants heading back to China would always stop by the temple facing the waterfront to pray for calm waves and safe journey. The construction of Thian Hock Keng signified the transformation of an immigrant society to one that planted its roots. The temple, hailed to be the biggest building islandwide then, took many years of sweat and toil and heavy financial commitments to complete. It was also deemed to be the religious centre for the Chinese community at that time. Today, although Thian Hock Keng is a primarily a min 闽 temple, its worshippers are not limited to min descendants. It as transcended dialect boundaries and worshippers are from all walks of life. Thian Hock Keng is a rare temple that encompasses Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism. That night, we were resting at a hotel at the foot of Mount Fuji. My husband set up his tripod early, preparing to photograph the mountain at night.
