3-Star Hotels in Loei Province, Thailand

Typical Western style budget hotel, very similar to a Holiday Inn. The room was clean, modern and well maintained. The linen and towels were in good condition. The air-conditioning, hot water and refrigerator all worked well. The only negative issue is that the room was kind of small and at a walk in rate of 790 THB, a bit overpriced. Breakfast was also included, but was pretty uninspiring. Ample parking for folks who are self-driving.

We went there intending to camp, but when we got there we found that the tents had no toilet facilities. If you need a private bathroom, you should be careful when choosing a camping room. After communicating with the front desk, we changed to an RV (according to the front desk's description, only RVs have independent showers and toilets). In fact, RVs are also a brand new accommodation experience, but with it comes the fact that there is no sound insulation, and all the noise and movement outdoors will be transmitted to the sleeping place (the sound and vibration of the air conditioner, the chirping of insects and birds outdoors, passing vehicles, etc.). If you have a demand for a good sleeping environment, please be careful. Of course, for those who really like camping, these are the feelings they are looking for. This hotel is suitable for lower temperatures. At this time of year, it is too hot, 40° during the day and 30° at night. The outdoor daytime and night views are very good, and it is suitable for traveling with a car, after all, it is still a few kilometers away from the city.

The room is very clean. In front of the accommodation is a gas station. Very convenient, close to the Mekong River. Just a short drive from the accommodation. The price is friendly to the wallet.

This is a small hotel that seems to cater mainly to business travellers, but welcomes occasional tourists. It is a modest hotel, not a luxury place, but it is spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds, decent sized rooms and ample parking. The breakfast is excellent (mostly Thai style). The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located quite centrally - the provincial office is a short walk, but is very quiet. Loei is a pretty quiet town, after all. Plenty of local eateries also within a few minutes walk.

A wonderful location overlooking a bend in the Mekong that affords spectacular early morning views. The resort has a large footprint with many kinds of different rooms all very clean, excellent beds and bathrooms. A few caveats. As the hotel is so large it is prone to receiving large tour groups and this will double impact the restaurant where service can easily back up with many people ordering at the same time. The breakfasts were definitely meagre, serving a choice of friend eggs, conjee or fried rice. Whether this is due to Covid I am not sure. The restaurant has a wonderful view over looking the river. Hard to beat.

When checking out, a car was parked blocking the exit, so it took almost 20 minutes to drive out. I called the hotel 5-6 times but no one answered. I had to walk around back to the hotel again. Then the staff followed the car owner to move it for me. - Not impressed with the breakfast. I got a coupon. The restaurant I went to eat at was almost at the end of the walking street. There were a lot of people. The set said that I would get rice soup, fried dough sticks, coffee, but I only got rice soup. The restaurant said I had to pay extra for everything else. I sat next to the restaurant. The smell was not good. - Amenities in the room include a TV, air conditioner, bed, small refrigerator, 4 bottles of water, soap, shampoo, shower cap, slippers. There is no dressing table. There is only one mirror in the bathroom. If there are only two of us, we have to wait to put on makeup in the bathroom. It takes a long time. It is not very convenient. - The space in the room is very narrow. You have to walk slowly or your knees will hit the edge of the TV counter when you get on the bed. There is no view to see, but it is close to the walking street. - The staff provided good service and were helpful throughout.

Set in an old folk house, Sneta Chian Khan was renovated in 2013 and consists of 7 rooms. Each has its own characteristics, but the structure feels nostalgic and calms down. I stayed at the Attic Room The room is on the 2nd floor. When you enter the room, it is a loft type room and the loft part is like a bedroom. There are windows on the ceiling roof, which reminds me of my childhood like a secret base. Surrounded by the warmth of the wood, it feels pretty good. Similar to Baan Luang Rajamaitri Historic Inn in Chantaburi (Baan Luang also reports on Tripadvisor so check it out if you like) Location of the Mekong River on the back facing Walking Street The lively sound of Walking Street at night In the morning, after 6 o'clock, you can hear the prayer sound of the monk in Dhutanga. Breakfast of local cuisine is included (I received 2 servings (laughs)) The staff / husband is very cheerful and kind with a good personality. I don't speak English ... I can understand Thai, but I wonder if the answer is an Isan accent ... It's okay! I can understand my feelings. ●●●● ○ and 4 were because it was itchy and I couldn't sleep because it seemed that there was a tick on the futon. I fought with an insect repellent in the middle of the night, but in the end I wore a long-sleeved hoodie, long trousers and socks and fought ... Funky. trendy hotel with a lot of metalwork! Actually it all goes together well and ends up a cool setup. Our room even had a kitchen sink and a bench top if you are staying a few days. What else was good? the wi-fi, the fridge, the air-con, the bed, the shower, the balcony and the electrical power points in the right places. Good, friendly service too. The young man who checked us in, served up a great breakfast the next morning, The breakfast was a choice of 3, all Thai style. I went with rice porridge, which was excellent. It also had a mini-baguette Viet style, apple slice, a choice of real coffee and a boiled egg,. This hotel is great value for money. Two things to watch out for) as other reviewers have said it is noisy at night because it's right next to a few bars (but that might be what you want with many restaurants too) and 2) the floor in room has a few levels so put the light on, if you get up in the night!

The hotel is quite central, the hotel is nice with the always laughing woman who gives you a map of the city and tells you or take your breakfast ... Songtewou (local bus) leaves the bus station and passs in front. Attention to the nails !!! There is an elevator. I had room 404 for 300 bahts ( January 2020) with fan. Quite large room with 2 comfortable beds. A right bathroom with hot water. All is clean but old. A TV that grills. Mobile and Wi-Fi. The window of the room is broken and doesn't close what makes the dust assemble in the room. Also the geckos crocks ... No breakfast. Of course compared to the countries around the world the price is cheaply paid for this type of room !

Overall, okay, good, clean accommodation, there are restaurants, beautiful shops, lovely staff. The location is on the main road, not difficult to find.

Arrived at the location around 5:30-6:00pm. We let them know the previous day we would arrive approximately around that time. Walking up to the counter I was excited to get us all in the room to relax after such a long drive. To be sure we would enjoy our time there, I purchased the biggest villa they had. Right away I realized something was off when the receptionist ignored my booking and asked if I just wanted a single room. I explained that I wanted what I booked and two more times she would attempt to give me a lessor room but for the same cost of the Superior Villa. Finally they had someone drive in front of us and direct us to our villa. When we got there, it was the wrong one. They again tried to give us a tiny room with one bed. There were FOUR of us! I told them again, the booking was for their Superior Villa for 5 adults. So they finally took us to our booking. Upon entering the villa I was so excited to get in that I could have missed any little tidbits that may not have been right. But there was animal feces on our beds, pillows, floor and the bath was covered in feces and urine. On top of that, the door didn't even lock. So we called and they apologized and had us move next door. Upon entering that villa we were more cautious. There was animal feces again on the bedding. I told them just change the bedding and we are fine. But then we realized the back sliding glass door was unable to close properly or lock. So they moved us for a third time. It has now been 2 HOURS!!!! We had to move a ton of items every time. Multiple coolers, luggage, coconuts and more!!! Upon getting into the new room, we realize only one bed is in this villa but at this point we don't care. They show us this giant jacuzzi bathtub that looks decent and we decide to move are things in and just call it a night. Turns out that the balcony lights didn't work and the jacuzzi that they talked up was completely broken and non-functional. We called them and told them they needed to refund at least half the amount. At first they told me I would need to go down to talk to management. I let them know I wasn't going anywhere and it had been 2 hours and I was done playing with them. Reluctantly they offered a 50% refund and we managed to make the rest of the night not completely terrible. Do not stay here, it is not worth the trouble.

This small new resort (only opened three years ago, just before Covid) is super, super, super clean! Perhaps the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. They even request quests to remove their shoes before entering the reception lobby. Staff are well trained and speak excellent English; are helpful and knowledgeable. Most of the rooms are villa style, but they also have four regular hotel style rooms. All have nice views of the nearby mountains, agricultural fields and fish ponds. Our room had a small, but very nice balcony. Excellent wifi and internet connection. A real treat for me was the outstanding lighting in the room... I could actually read at night without straining or contributing to blindness (a real rarity for a hotel room... thanks!!). Fabulous bed and linens made for a great sleep. Good airconditioning and mini fridge. Snacks in the room provided free of charge! During Covid, their restaurant is not operating except for breakfast, but they have a coffee shop and excellent restaurants are only a few minutes drive away. My only suggestion is for them to improve their complimentary breakfast, which was disappointing (only plain white bread instead of whole grain, tasteless chicken sausage, reconstituted bacon, good vegetables for salad were the only saving grace for the breakfast). If they improve the breakfast, this place will be 5-stars plus!

Amazing scenic view from the room and from the restaruant ”Route 21”: literally, breath-taking sceneries. Amicable staff is ready to help if you need so. There is a little local shop on the territory, where you can buy some souvenirs or snacks. Generally speaking, the Hotel has everything to make your stay comfortable there.

Location. Very good. However, the service was somewhat underground. Also the info only 1 room free ....Unfortunately the entire facility is empty. So only necessary staff were present (master)
