Determined to take action, Salam joined Lokou Trading, a reusable bag company that accessed finance and business support from Accelerate Prosperity - An AKDN Initiative.    Today, Lokou Trading in Singul is making a big difference—producing 50,000 nonwoven fabric bags annually, protecting biodiversity, and cutting emissions. We wrapped up an inspiring day at the Serena Hotel, Islamabad, on December 5, 2024, celebrating the amazing impact of the European Union-funded #APAsia project, implemented by Accelerate Prosperity - An AKDN Initiative through the Aga Khan Foundation.
