On Monday, October 21st, the Google Developer Groups on campus at Beaconhouse National University (BNU) (GDGoC BNU) held its orientation. The event was well-attended, drawing a full house of participants. Ali Awais , a pioneering photographer in Pakistan with numerous brand collaborations and four national distinctions to his credit, was welcomed by Dr. Shafat Ahmad Bazaz, Dean of the School of Computer and Information Technology (SCIT), with a bouquet of flowers. Mr. Awais, who has been featured in Nikon Asia, Nikon Middle East, and Africa, delivered an inspiring session on identifying and seizing early opportunities, drawing on examples from his own career. Dr. Shafaat Ahmed Bazaz , Ph.D (France) also shared his insights during the event. Usman Ali , founding lead and organizer of GDGoC BNU, introduced the group to students and faculty, outlining upcoming projects, events, and initiatives. He also unveiled the official logo for the GDGoC BNU chapter, alongside co-lead Wahab Sami.
