On October 30th, 2024, we hosted an unforgettable event—Crafting an Impactful FYP: Bridging the Gap Between Industry and Academia! 🎓 The session was a hit, thanks to the inspiring energy brought by our guest speakers: Arslan Arshad (Sr. Software Engineer @ Google), Arslan Ihsan (Senior Vice President @ Addo AI), and Faizan Chughtai (CTO @ Skylinx Technologies). They walked students through what it takes to make a project that doesn’t just check a box but can actually make a difference. From identifying real-world problems to aligning with industry needs, our speakers shared the secrets to building FYPs that could be the first step in a successful career—or even the foundation of a future startup. 💡🌍 It was amazing to see our students engaging, asking questions, and sharing their own ideas with such enthusiasm! On September 21st, 2024, GDSC LGU collaborated with Metaschool to host an engaging session titled ‘Getting Started with Web3 and Core Blockchain.’ This event brought together students eager to learn about the power and potential of decentralized technology.
