MatSciMania 1.0 continued its program with a talk from a distinguished alum: Muhammad Momin Rasheed CEO of CarboTech. A graduate from 2023, Momin shared his insights and success story, illustrating the potential within the field of Materials Science. His journey from student to industry leader serves as a testament to the opportunities available in this dynamic field. Congratulations to Momin on his remarkable achievements!

MatSciMania 1.0 drew to a spectacular close with a memorable ceremony. Dr. Atiq Ur Rehman and Dr. Abdul Wadood graced the occasion as esteemed chief guests, imparting invaluable wisdom to the attendees. Their words resonated deeply, inspiring and motivating all present. As the event reached its climax, prizes were distributed to the winners of the Corrosion poster, Scavenger Hunt, and Cricket Tournament, recognizing their outstanding achievements. The joyous atmosphere continued with a delightful Pizza Party, bringing everyone together for a final celebration of camaraderie and success. MatSciMania 1.0 concluded on a high note, leaving lasting memories and anticipation for future endeavors in the field of Materials Science and Engineering.

Adding a twist of excitement, MatSciMania 1.0 featured a thrilling Scavenger Hunt competition! Amidst the buzz of the event, participants embarked on a quest for victory. In a display of teamwork and strategy, Laiba Qandeel and Tehreem Nasir from MAT-14 emerged triumphant, showcasing their quick thinking and resourcefulness. Congratulations to Laiba and Tehreem for their well-deserved win, adding an extra thrill to the event!

Next up on MatSciMania 1.0's agenda was the Data Sciences Workshop! Led by the insightful Muhammad Abdullah from NTU, Singapore, this workshop served as a gateway to the fascinating realm of data analytics and machine learning. Participants had the opportunity to delve into the intricacies of these fields, gaining valuable skills and insights that are crucial in today's data-driven world. MatSciMania 1.0 kicked off with an exhilarating cricket tournament, setting a spirited tone for the event on May 27, 2024. Four teams—MAT-13 A, MAT-13 B, MAT-14, and MAT-16—battled it out on the field, showcasing their skills and teamwork. After a series of thrilling matches, MAT-16 emerged victorious, clinching the championship title. The tournament was a fantastic start to the day, bringing participants together and building camaraderie among the attendees, all while celebrating the spirit of competition and sportsmanship.
