The 4th meeting of the Program Steering Committee was held today at NAVTTC Headquarters in Islamabad. The meeting was chaired by the Honorable Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Federal Minister for the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training. The Honorable Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, Chairman of the Prime Minister's Youth Programme, and Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani, Special Secretary of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, also graced the meeting with their presence. NAVTTC and the National Radio Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC) signed an agreement for the development of a Training Lifecycle Management System (TLMS). The TLMS, a key component of NAVTTC’s E-Learning roadmap, is designed to provide real-time access to data on student progress, institutional performance, trainer efficiency, and course outcomes. It will also offer students and stakeholders seamless access to course content. In the longer term, the system aims to expand NAVTTC’s training capacity through self-paced learning, assessments, and the gamification of learning materials. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Honorable Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Federal Minister for the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Chairman of the Prime Minister's Youth Programme, and Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani, Special Secretary of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, underscoring the importance of this initiative in modernizing Pakistan’s skill development ecosystem. The National Blind Cooking Competition 2024, marked a historic moment as Pakistan’s first-ever event dedicated to showcasing the extraordinary talents of visually impaired chefs. With 23 chefs from 20 cities across Pakistan, the competition promoted inclusivity and celebrated the capabilities of these chefs. Pakistan now joins the ranks of only four countries worldwide to host such an inspiring event, setting a precedent for empowerment and inclusion.
