The first batch of 30 of the total 150 electric buses to be operated in Islamabad is set to be dispatched from China which will arrive in Karachi after three weeks. Sources said after customs clearance, the buses will reach in the capital in May. ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has suspended the sentence of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, in the Toshakhana case. France, Egypt and Jordan have called for an “immediate and permanent ceasefire” in Gaza. The demand was made by foreign ministers of the three countries at a joint news conference in Cairo. With the latest announcement, the price of petrol has been increased from Rs279.75 to Rs289.41 per litre; while the high speed diesel (HSD) rate reduced to Rs282.24 from Rs278.92. The Finance Ministry said in a statement that the changes were due to a corresponding rise in petrol prices and a decrease in HSD prices in the international market.
