About us
Sindh Food Authority Established in 2018 under SFA act 2016, SFA main objective is to monitor and guarantee the food that we eat is both safe and high quality and our aim is to provide safe, hygienic and healthy food to the people of Pakistan as per set standards of the government. With an aim and objective to protect consumer from unsanitary, unwholesome and adulterated food and protect public health by reducing the risk of food Bourne illness. The Sindh Food Authority in Pakistan regulates and monitors the food industry, which is crucial for maintaining public health. This include carrying out food safety inspections, quality control of the food, licensing and certification, enforcement, public awareness campaigns, and cooperation. Our goal is to provide trustworthy food. We operate in a transparent manner and base our decisions and suggestions on the most recent research and data.

ڈائریکٹر جنرل سندھ فوڈ اتھارٹی مزمل حسین ہالیپوٹو کا کراچی پریس کلب کا دورہ۔ صدر کراچی پریس کلب سعید سربازی اور سیکریٹری شعیب احمد سمیت پریس کلب کی گورننگ باڈی اراکین سے ملاقات خوراک کے معیار اور تحفظ کے متعلق آگاہی کے لئے میڈیا کا تعاون ضروری ہے۔ مزمل حسین ہالیپوٹو کراچی 25 نومبر 2024 کراچی: ڈائریکٹر جنرل سندھ فوڈ اتھارٹی (ایس ایف اے) مزمل حسین ہالیپوٹو نے کراچی پریس کلب (کے پی سی) کا دورہ کیا اور صدر سعید سربازی، سیکریٹری شعیب احمد اور گورننگ باڈی کے اراکین سے ملاقات کی۔ اس دورے کا مقصد خوراک کی حفاظت اور ذمہ داری کو یقینی بنانے کے لیے ایس ایف اے اور میڈیا کے درمیان تعاون کو مضبوط بنانا تھا۔ ملاقات کے دوران ڈی جی سندھ فوڈ اتھارٹی نے کھلی تیل کی فروخت، دودھ میں ملاوٹ اور زائد المیعاد اشیاء کے خلاف حالیہ دنوں میں کی جانے والی کارروائیوں کو اجاگر کیا۔ مزمل حسین ہالیپوٹو نے بتایا کہ ایس ایف اے کی کارروائیاں سندھ کے تمام اضلاع میں جاری ہیں اور ادارہ خواتین کو بااختیار بنانے پر خصوصی توجہ دے رہا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ سات اضلاع میں ایس ایف اے ٹیموں کی قیادت خواتین کر رہی ہیں، جو ایک قابل تعریف اقدام ہے۔
