Reflecting on the Cambridge Education Roundtable 2024 It was an absolute privilege to participate in the Cambridge Education Roundtable 2024. The event was an enriching experience, bringing together visionary leaders, seasoned educationists, and passionate change-makers dedicated to shaping the future of education. I had the honor of contributing as a panelist in the session, “Educating for Tomorrow: Strategies to Become Future-Ready Schools.” The discussion was thought-provoking and inspiring, as we explored actionable strategies to navigate global educational shifts while addressing the unique challenges of schools in Pakistan. One quote that resonated deeply with the session was Alvin Toffler’s timeless insight: “The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn.” This idea underpins the urgency for adaptability and lifelong learning in our ever-evolving educational landscape. It was a pleasure listening to Rod Smith whose insights about the future of education were truly inspiring. The opening remarks and updates from Uzma Yousuf, were equally insightful and highlighted Cambridge’s commitment to empowering schools and educators. Interacting with delegates, speakers, and Cambridge officials was a rewarding experience. The exchange of ideas and perspectives was a testament to the collective drive to foster meaningful change in education. Empowering Science Teachers: Workshop on Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme   We had an engaging and insightful workshop at the Head Office for our Grades 5 to 7 science teachers across all SuperNova campuses!   The session focused on the Cambridge Lower Secondary programme, providing an in-depth orientation on the curriculum outlines, learning outcomes, and effective teaching strategies. We explored the advantages of integrating digital resources and utilizing Cambridge Checkpoint past papers in our classrooms. Teachers actively participated in solving past papers, allowing them to familiarize themselves with the marking criteria and identify gaps in our current practices. The discussions were vibrant, with teachers posing thoughtful questions that enriched our understanding of the new guidelines.   As we formally introduce the Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint this year, our goal is to effectively prepare our Middle Years students for success.
