The event was attended by policymakers from all levels of government, including members of the Senate and federal and provincial assemblies. Notable attendees included: Senator Bushra Butt Chairperson Senate’s Committee for Education Barrister Aqeel Malik MNA - Govt Spokesperson on Legal Affairs Mohsin Ayub Khan, Chairperson Parliament’s Committee Finance MPA, Punjab Amina Hassan Sheikh MPA - Punjab Imran Ilyas Ch MPA, Punjab This esteemed gathering which also included Dr Maheen Malik from Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids facilitated high-level discussions on the future of tobacco control, with a focus on critical issues such as Tobacco Advertising, Promotion, and Sponsorship (TAPS) regulations and graphic health warning.

Shariq Khan CEO Chromatic alongside Tayyab Raza Program Manager, and Amina Hassan Shaikh, MPA Punjab, had a very productive meeting with Dr. Malik Mukhtar Ahmad Bharath, Federal Health Coordinator to the Prime Minister at the Ministry Of National Health Services. The discussion focused on strengthening tobacco control measures to protect future generations. Key topics included collaboration on reducing the tobacco industry’s influence, increasing taxes on tobacco products and ensuring stricter regulation of emerging nicotine products like pouches and vapes under government oversight.
