More women in the judiciary and police makes courts and police stations inclusive and accessible, increasing access to justice, particularly for #GenderBasedViolence survivors. The lack of dedicated gender-responsive infrastructure is one of the key barriers for practicing women lawyers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Under the EU funded ‘Deliver Justice Programme,’ (European Union in Pakistan), #UNDPinPakistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council jointly inaugurated four bar rooms for women lawyers in Mardan, Kohat, Nowshera and Charsadda. These bar rooms provide a safer work environment for women lawyers within district court complexes, facilitating them in their practice and encouraging more women litigants to seek justice. #NoExcuse #HerInclusionMatters #EndingViolenceAgainstWomenAndGirls #16DaysOfActivism
