[Thank you Grant Cardone for inspiring that]. This goes to our entire team, current and former! And this goes to the impact created with whatever we build! 4 days and 20 hours, Global Shapers Islamabad, in partnership with Moawin Foundation and VECTOR Inc., provided career counselling in three schools - engaging 120+ students, during the Summer Fiesta, a two-week long initiative by the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training aimed at providing a comprehensive learning experience to students across Islamabad. Our sessions were packed with valuable takeaways and hands-on simulations, ensuring students could put theory into practice. Session 1: Launching service-based startups Maaz Ali Nadeem from Global Shapers Islamabad and Noor khan Khan from VECTOR Inc. led an engaging workshop on freelancing on Upwork, mastering monetizable skills, and launching service-based startups. The team also introduced students to emerging careers and remote work. Session 2: Career counselling and brand development Haris Bin Saqib conducted an interactive workshop that began with exploring the concept of heroes and the power of individuals. He then introduced students to emerging careers of the 2020s. The session featured engaging activities like Personal Ambition Mapping, Career Hot Seat, Personal Goal Setting, and Future Me Planning. Session 3: Young Entrepreneurs Waqas Ramzan led an interactive session on entrepreneurship, exploring who entrepreneurs are, their problem-solving skills, and how they differ from traditional business people. Participants engaged in activities like "Spot the Entrepreneur" game, "Problem Detective" for identifying issues, and the "Idea Tornado" to brainstorm business ideas. They also learned about market research by creating customer profiles, basic business finance, and crafted TV ads for their ventures, culminating in a fun investment simulation using provided investment cards. Session 4: Climate change and environmental literacy During a three-day session on environmental literacy, Haniya Ali kept the topics simple and engaging. On the first day, the students explored ecosystems and how plants, animals, and other parts of nature interact. The second day focused on climate change and practical actions that we can take to make a difference. On the final day, the students watched a climate change documentary and participated in interactive activities to reinforce learnings. We are grateful to Global Shapers Community, Global Alliance for YOUth and Accenture for their belief in the power of youth. #GlobalShapersCommunity #LocallyLed #ChangeMakers #CareerCounselling

𝐒𝐚𝐛𝐳𝐢 𝐒𝐚𝐡𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭: 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐚𝐡𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭 (𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧) 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬 In the heart of our local markets, vendors work tirelessly to provide fresh produce to our communities. With over 80% of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in South Asia still relying on manual, paper-based record-keeping systems, the business remains to be inefficient. Designed to simplify the lives of local vegetable & fruit vendors, Sabzi Sahulat is a mobile app that targets the fresh produce markets. Powered by the Gemini API, we leverage it to automate the tedious record keeping tasks. Sabzi Sahulat addresses the pain points of manual record-keeping through provisions of Gemini’s OCR-powered data entry, voice-driven inventory management, and real-time sales tracking. With this app, vendors cannot just monitor their stock but can also calculate sales & profits identifying top selling products through weekly analytics for data-driven decision making. Gemini plays a crucial role to enable these features where the OCR allows the app to extract text from images of receipts or handwritten notes, saving vendors valuable time. This is team VECTOR Inc.'s submission to the Gemini API Competition, 2024. With the integration of Gemini’s advanced AI capabilities, we are building a true local partner that uplifts, and revamps the way micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) do business in Pakistan, and the around the world! User Interface & User Experience by Amna Usman,  App Development & Integrations by Muhammad Ibrahim Basit and Saleh Ahmad, Creative Execution by Fateh Aayan and Noor ul Wadood Khan, Project Management by Aman Shah, Starring Raphael Atiq and Azan Ureed Khan We thank Janise Tan • 陈美璇 and Huzaifa Habib for introducing us to this competition! As a part of our Building advanced GenAI solutions with Gemini API, our speakers, Saleh Ahmad and Aamish Rafique demonstrated how we can leverage the multi-modal capabilities of Gemini to build a support system for the farmers in Pakistan and how we can use globally available solutions to address locally solvable problems. We recently had the privilege of meeting with VECTOR Inc., the innovative minds behind Pakistan's pioneering virtual try-on application, vFit. ⚡ Their goal is to redefine online clothing shopping by offering consumers a cutting-edge artificial intelligence system that enables them to virtually try on garments in real time, right from the comfort of their homes. 🪄 During our meeting with the talent individuals driving this company – Maaz Ali Nadeem, Abdulwadood Waseem, and Aman Shah – we engaged in a highly productive discussion. It's inspiring to learn that they initiated this venture right from the library of the FAST-NUCES, Islamabad Campus. 💡 We extend our heartfelt thanks to the VECTOR Inc. team for graciously hosting us and sharing their invaluable advice on the journey of scaling startups from concept to established enterprises. 🥂
