What You’ll Be Doing At Cloudways - A DigitalOcean Company:
- Build, Manage and Execute functional and automated test suites to exercise our software to verify the growing feature sets and customer requirements.
- Automate tasks through the creation and maintenance of scripts and tools.
- Develop functional stress and systemic level test suites and test infrastructure in manual and automated ways to measure coverage.
- Participate in requirements review and understand new feature development.
- Collaborate with the software engineering team on QA/Testing topics.
- Perform platform testing to find out flaws within the interface.
- Update the testing procedure to provide better testing analysis and user experience.
- Contribute to our quality projects, including automation of test cases, with a focus on feature deployment.
- Actively participate in agile meetings with product management and development teams.
- Gather requirements, build testing solutions and troubleshoot issues to deliver a high-quality product.
- Communicate technical concepts/issues clearly to internal teams.
- Develop, document, and maintain test cases and validation reports.
- 1-2 years minimum, of job related experience as a QA engineer, preferably with Selenium/ Cucumber/BDD
- Hands-on experience in test infrastructure/test suite development
- Experience in Web Applications and API testing
- Ability to diagnose and debug issues
- Understanding of web protocols and tools
- Experience with build systems and version control systems (e.g., Jenkins/Git/TFS)
- Strengths in SQA methodologies include coverage analysis and commitment to quality
- Strong communication and documentation skills
