Taste & Wellbeing Key Account Manager for Pakistan

A Junior Key Account Manager with the global leader in the creation of Taste & Wellbeing and Fragrance & Beauty, and a key member of our Taste & Wellbeing Middle East Commercial team and focussing on the exciting Pakistan market, while being based in our Karachi office in Pakistan - Your future position?

We are currently looking to expand our Taste & Wellbeing Sales team in Pakistan and have opened up a 'Key Account Manager' role to provide more intimate support for our expanding customer base in Pakistan and increasing market share for our key Taste & Wellbeing solution offerings across categories – Beverages, Savoury, Sweet goods, Snacks, Dairy & Cheese, and Nutraceuticals.

You will be based in our Karachi office in Pakistan and report to the Country Manager for Pakistan. In this individual contributor role, you will develop business plans targeting strategic customers in Pakistan to provide them with game-changing Taste & Wellbeing solutions and help achieve Givaudan's purpose and commercial objectives in Pakistan and the wider region.

In this exciting role, your main responsibilities will include -

  • Develop and maintain our business: You will create new business opportunities and develop the project pipeline making the best use of Givaudan's resources and capabilities to develop the most relevant commercial opportunities with customers.
  • Bring your passion and service our customers: You will partner with our customers' R&D and Marketing teams, understand their brand strategies, positioning, strengths and weaknesses, and ensure Givaudan is well-positioned to participate in briefs and is on core lists.
  • Position our products and solutions: You will monitor flavour trends, competitive activity, and product development and obtain insightful marketing data to support and nurture our business goals.
  • Improve the bottom line: You will develop key accounts and prospects on the ground, follow up on customer submissions, manage wins through to production and launch, and deliver budgeted sales.

Your professional profile includes -

  • A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering or Business Studies.
  • 5+ years' relevant experience in B2B Sales in Business Development or Key Account Management role(s) in international work environments, preferably with companies in the Flavours, Food, Beverage, Ingredients, Chemicals, Industrial or Packaging sectors.
  • Proven sales record in Pakistan.
  • A strong passion and appreciation for the world of flavours.
  • Good knowledge of customers, competition, and an existing network in Pakistan will be ideal.
  • Excellent oral and written proficiency in the English language.
  • Strong business and commercial knowledge.
  • Excellent presentation and project management skills.
  • Able to travel frequently within the Pakistan market (: 30-40% of your time).
  • Good command with IT skills.
