The Position
The division is looking for a Software Developer - Java to work as part of its team and be responsible for developing and maintaining projects that meet both technical requirements and business objectives.
Primary Responsibilities Include
Hands-on with development and producing quality work efficiently.
Able to reproduce critical issues related to development and fix them.
Application Development and assistance for internal and external users.
Converting backlog items to software tasks based on the architecture.
Testing and Change control deployments.
Assists in clear documentation and problem resolutions of Product Development.
Contributes feedback and input to implement best design practices.
Contributes to the development of business and functional requirements to ensure stakeholder understanding.
Adhere to reporting standards set by upper management
Desired Skills And Responsibilities
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent technical Degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years of experience of developing applications using Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Spring JPA.
Thorough understanding of design and architectural patterns along with SOLID and DRY software development principles.
Experience in building and consuming SOAP and RESTful web services.
Expertise in writing quality unit testing to ensure the code quality.
Sound understanding of parallels and concurrent execution models using multi-threading and async/wait
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to understand and implement complex business requirements.
A problem free philosophy and strong problem-solving skill set.
Prior experience working in an Agile development environment.
Excellent English Language Communication Skills.
