137 Pillars House

Nawarat
My family could not have asked for a better experience. Toto (our butler) and Ann (the general manger) helped make our trip especially memorable. Our kids loved Toto and continue to tell his jokes. Ann keeps a keen eye on this property, always looking to improve. Only 30 rooms allows for a quaint and serene rest. The rooms are large and comfortable. Easy distance to the walled city. The 137 pillars staff ensure a seamless stay.
Bella Nara Hotel Chiang Mai

Huay Kaew
Located on main road, basically going to everywhere in city within 10~15 mins driving distance. Room is spacious, hygiene is superb, lighting, toilet and shower are good too. A very comforable stay for 5 nights. there is also welcome drink provided in the bar would be better if there are charging near the both side of the bed.
U Nimman Chiang Mai
4.6/5353 Reviews
Nimmanhaemin Road Area
The positives Service: front desk, door men etc were very friendly and polite Location: convenient location near the airport (15 mins away), near a shopping mall, lots of food / cafes / bars / restaurants and shops nearby at the nimman area within very short walking distance Rooms: large, spacious, free beverage per person per night, welcome rice crackers Negatives 1. Didn’t like the dark corridors in the hotel 2. Deluxe room was VERY dim 3. Bed was too soft and flat. Bedsheets and pillows weren’t great 4. Cleanliness was an issue. The floor and carpet didn’t feel clean but the hotel provided slippers. The worst part was the shower area 😩😩🤮🤮 mould on the floor and walls, overall grimy and slimy esp at the corners. The rest of the negatives can be overlooked but not the shower area. I literally cringed and shuddered every time I had to shower. I don’t understand how it can be so dirty?! 😩 5. The light switches were a nightmare. There were many switches at the door area and bedside (like 3 switches per side) but no instructions and they didn’t follow a pattern so you would always need to try switching on and off etc all the time just to get the room totally dark but with the bedside lamp on 6. Sounds from outside the door, next room, upstairs could be heard and it was very disturbing as the noise sounded like it was next to me all the time. There were endless footstep noises from upstairs during the night and all these noises woke me up throughout my stay. I usually sleep through the night in hotels 7. My first room, the shower area had ZERO lights and I had to bathe in literal darkness. Thankfully the front desk were very quick and efficient and got me another room to move to which was thankfully very bright with working shower lights. 8. Hotel breakfast was full of carbs and the food didn’t taste fresh or great at all :( I had spent the last 3 days at another hotel in Chiang Mai so the differences in room and bfast were really stark. Overall, for a clean freak, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. But if you can overlook the cleanliness; the location, friendliness of staff, etc are positives you can focus on. Pics attached are of two different rooms.
Sannot Riverside Boutique Hotel

Chiang Mai Riverside
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel living up to it’s boutique status. The staff is very welcoming & attentive. Every need or question they would gladly help with anything. We even got a welcoming gift and another special as it was a holiday coming up😊 The hotel is a bit outside the Center, but therefore very spacious and beautifully decorated in nature & greens. The amenities are well maintained and clean. Also the breakfast was very good! I would highly recommend to rent one of their scooters to get around, if you feel a little adventurous. There’s so many places to explore. Otherwise grab is also easy. P.S.: Check out the flower festival in Chiang Mai. You definitely won’t regret it, that was a highlight!
Shangri-La Chiang Mai

Night Bazaar Area
All service is good the 2 nd floor restaurant and the house keeping are very helpful. Only china kitchen is not good as when we went than the restaurant is empty but they said wait and next time also they say need reservation as they only make the limited food. For pre booking only. So my question is that than why open the restaurant if no have walk-in mentioned there . Other is good service thanks
Buri Sriping Riverside Resort and Spa
4.5/5128 Reviews
Chiang Mai Riverside
The Buri Sriping Riverside Resort and Spa is a true gem. We were greeted with hospitality upon arrival and served welcome drinks in the reception area. Entering into the courtyard, it is one of those places that makes you say “Wow!”. Situated along the Ping River, it is a haven from the hustle and bustle of central Chiang Mai, but only a short 10-15 min. away by car. The well-appointed breakfast room is located below the restored Faham Palace. The restored structure above has a Grand Suite that can be booked. All the staff were attentive and accommodating. For example, on our first morning my wife asked for a cup of heated soy milk to have with her coffee. The next morning, when the attendant saw my wife, he had a cup of heated soy waiting for her before she asked for it. Well done! Breakfast along the river, with a view of the mountains, was a great way to start our day. From the courtyard you have a grand view of the Thanon Thong Chai mountain range. The Wat Phra That Doi Suthet temple is located in those mountains as well as Doi Inthanon, the highest point in Thailand. The Buri Sriping Resort was perfect after a day of tourist activities in the Chiang Mai area. It was a quiet, peaceful place to return to in the evening, with a dip in the pool to cool off before bedtime. The rooms were beautiful with comfortable beds. An elegant retreat that is close to everything.
The Chiang Mai Old Town

Chiang Mai Ancient City
Excellent two night stay in this adorable boutique hotel located inside the old city. Beds were very, very comfortable. We stayed in the heritage house jr suite and our teen daughters stayed in a deluxe king room. Both rooms were spacious and wonderful. The food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent!! The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and polite. I had an excellent foot massage at the spa. We also participated in two OUTSTANDING tours (Northern Highlights and Chiang Mai CityTemples). My only regret is we didn’t have time to enjoy the gorgeous pool. We would stay here again.
Chala Number 6

Chiang Mai Ancient City
Great location for exploring downtown / old town, right next to the entry of a temple Phaya Yakkharaj (Southern Pavillion) and many other sights. On sundays you‘ve a huge night market right in front of your door step, so make sure you’re going to stay over the weekend. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Room amenities and the entire minibar incl. Snake is refilled daily free of charge. Furthermore there‘s a afternoon tea time with additional free snacks and drinks. Just the breakfast selection could be a bit wider. Especially when you have your breakfast close to closure (10:30am), you might be disappointed as not much will be refilled after 10am. The room are spacious and well equipped, my kids and I had 2303 & 2302. Just a proper hair drier is need, not this built in useless blowers we all know and hate to use. Also the provided pillows are ultra hard and high, so you may request for a extra soft feather pillow or neck support pillow if needed, which will be provided by the hotel staff / housekeeping. Hotel pool area is clean and well maintained! All over a great place to stay with reasonable pricing and great service!
Khum Wang Nuea Villa

What a stunning villa I’ve ever been🤩 I’ve booked two rooms with my family so we got a whole block of V.7👍🏻 Love all the glasses🌿🌳all the woods🪵 Love the vibes so so much that I don’t even want to leave the place❤️ The swimming pool is very chill too🏊🏻♀️ Must come back again and stay longer next time🫶🏻 Is a good place to relax and enjoy peace🥰 Although the location is quite far from main town, it a MUST to stay a villa like this in Chiangmai so that you can even more enjoy the culture🇹🇭 You can use the app ‘Grab’ to call the vehicle to send you to anywhere so it still can be convenient to stay tho🚕 Also the staffs were very nice and helpful🤗 When I was taking photos in the lobby and dinning area, they open all the lights for me to make sure I can get some beautiful pictures📸 Unfortunately I can’t upload all the photos here as the review only allows me to upload 20 pictures🥹 I have took so many photos of the villa and I want to share to all of you cause there were really really beautiful💖 They also have a massage room and gym room too✨ I have used the gym room🏋🏻♀️ but didn’t have time to enjoy the massage💆🏻♀️ I’m sure I will be more satisfied if I have tried the massage🤤 Therefore, I highly recommended all to select Khum Wang Nuea Villa for your accommodation in Chiangmai💯 I guarantee that you will not regret😊
Veranda High Resort Chiang Mai - MGallery
4.5/5396 Reviews
We absolutely loved our stay at Veranda High Resort Chiang Mai. The hotel is about a 30-min drive from Chiang Mai, nestled into a beautiful countryside with rolling hills. We booked the valley deluxe scenery room on the ground floor, which has a calming view of trees and mountains. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with everything you need; the bed is huge. The infinity pool overlooks a mountain with a white temple (worth a visit!). Food (Western and Thai) is delicious and reasonably priced. But what stood out above everything was how friendly the staff is here. We felt really welcome and well looked after. We'll definitely be back!
